I really dont want this to continue on to next year, i had hope that GS had mended its ways with the Halo 3 review but no... i think gamespot needs to re-evaluate its standards and make them more in line with the mainstream, i personally think they are getting a bit jaded and expecting way too much.

so no that would suck if all hyped games like MGS4, GTA4 flop it would seriously damage Gamespot's image imo.

i guess its how you look at it, to me Mass Effect is still a AAA game, and bioware probably considers it a AAA game also because the majoirty of sites gave it AAA, i really doubt that bioware uses gamespot out of all the others to rate themselves.

i dont know, it would seem rather silly considering last year Gears of war got it over Zelda.

A bit inconsistent, my money would more likely be on Crysis or World in Conflict, or even Halo 3, unless Gamespot has changed a lot in a year.

this is kinda a moot point(and hell i am lemming i cant believe i am saying this) Gamespotis not the end all. Besides just because GS hasn't given the game a AAA review doesn't mean its not good, it just means Gamespotdoesn't think its good enough (i am looking at you ratchet and clank, Zelda TP, Mass Effect,MP3, and unchartedreviews)

all of those games are arguably very good and have gotten AAA across the board does GS really make that much a difference in the way you make it sound in your post? not really it just makes a difference right here, in system wars outside of that it doesn't really matter.
