umm gears of war had online which adds many hours to the game, plus achievements meant you were supposed to beat the game three times( i beat it four times) you cant really do that with heavenly sword.

dont forget ign only said half of the game is actually fun so basically you are getting a three hour good game.

The gameplay looks like your standard FPS fare

thats when i stopped reading, please tell me in what FPS can you pause the game and cue up to three attacks and then unpause it and watch it all happen? heck that talent wheel almost makes the game turnbased if you want to play it like that.

Resistance: 10 hour game, Heavenly Sword six hour game(and according to ign only three hours of that was actually fun), so no imo blu-ray hasn't proven itself to me. If those games are signs of things to come i feel sorry for ps3 owners who were hyping how much space blu-ray offerers. Call me up when we get 50hour+ games with full CGI cut-scenes on the ps3 then we can talk as of right now its not needed imo.

At first I admit I bought into the whole "360 has nothing in 08" argument since I hadn't heard of anything being announced...but now that I look at the 08 lineup...it's actually arguably just as good if not better than the 07 lineup:

Halo Wars, Fable 2, UT3, Fallout 3, SC:conviction, Gears of War 2 (probable), Ninja Gaiden 2 (probably), Far Cry 2, Star Wars, Condemned 2, Saints Row 2, Battlefield, DMC4, and GTA 4.

Nota bad lineup if you ask me. Of course some of those are ps3/360multiplat...but with the 360'scurrentxboxlive advantage and the way that most multiplats have turned out sofar, I don't think that is a negative on the 360 at all.

you must not be a jrpg fan because you forgot exclusives like Infinite undiscovery and Cry on.

i am not really all that surprised, anyway blue dragon comes out nextweek that at least will give me my rpg fix.
