and everyone seems to forget that july was the month that 360's RROD was talked about endlessly if a less than 30k drop is it for fallout from that debacle than the 360 is going to bounce back in August and September.

personally i think so the only thing is halo 3 is coming out a bit late in the month so for that to happen everyone basically needs to buy a 360 for halo 3 on launch day of halo 3. Its going to be interesting to see exactly how much halo 3 does effect sales, everyone says it will but no one knows exactly how many potential buyers are waiting out their..

and ps3 did just that. are we forgetting for theprior two months before julyor so ps3 couldn't even surpass 100k units but last month sold nearly 60k more units then previous months?

i think he met this was temporary... i would bet the ps3 will go down next month they had barely anything release in august the only spurring the sales was a price drop. the 360 is totally different story with bioshock and a price drop it should increase more...

i have a question for everyone so everyone can basically agree that 360 and ps3 sales arent as good as last gen(or as good as the wii) now i think thats mostly to do with price. So is this it as far as how far console prices can go?($600)

well buddy you get to play the waiting game. First wait until warhawk next week then Heavenly Sword(although if IGN-uk is any indication you are screwed the month of September) if you are really lucky you might buy 1-2 games before November where you might get the best game(imo) for the ps3, UT3 and uncharted( i am really feeling a delay for uncharted though kinda weird how we haven't really gotten a release date yet)then thats it. Wait more for MGS next spring.

i dint mention lair, because i think it sucks but you could buy it, in those 1-2 games i mentioned you need to buy Ratchet and clank.
