i dont know about 2009, but no way can they do it until 2008 when GTA and MGS4 come out then they might actually be able to affored the losses because the system might sell some.

heavenly sword was just stupid its 7 hours long according to ign-uk what the heck... cows though gears of war was short?? so much for all the extra space of blu-ray..

it would also be nice to you have some actual good games more than once in a blue moon. But ultimately the ps3 is never going to catch up to the 360 in total sales(it might one or two months) unless it goes under $400 and 360 is never going to catch wii sales, but it could do a lot better if the console was under $300(premium)

also another flaw in sony's start they want to sell the ps3 as a cheap next gen movie player i got news for people who want to buy a next gen player why are you buying a $500 console when you can buy a stand alone hd-dvd player for $238? I know blu-ray has more titles but it doesn't have 2x the titles of hd-dvd

well with the ps3 outselling 360 here in europe and japan its only a matter of time for america.

also a 200% up in sales is pretty big and there is only 10,000 diffrence, a 50 or 100 dollor cut in ps3 will be before xmas and thats when we really see the sale pop

in japan yes but europe is very very debatable, its too hard to track euro sales numbers(if you link to vgcharts i swear.... did you not learn that vg sucks? the said the ps3 was killing the 360 every week they just guess)
