Hmm...I don't see Monster Hunter being out of the question at all for 3DS. Also, I realize the PSP was quite successful for Sony's first entry into the handheld market, and I have changed my mind. I expect a PSP2, but it is also a good possibility that the 3DS will take a chunk of the PSP's fanbase with its "Mature 3rd Party push" including games like Saint's Row, Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Dead or Alive, SSF4 etc.

This is true. The 3DS will have a first out of the gates advantage, and it seems set to capture both, the expanded casual market of the DS and the core market of the PSP. The 3DS might go on to become the first system to breach the 200 million systems sold mark.

Question is: How much is it gonna cost?

Will they pull a $250 like the psp go?

As fast as I'm going to buy a 3DS, and as much as the psp is going to outsell the DS almost every month in Japan until it's release (as it usually does), the PSP has one series the DS may never get to hold up it's sleeve, amongst all the good titles it's getting currently...Like Zettai Hero Project, Tactics Ogre, Ys 7, Knights in the Nightmare, etc.

I hope they keep the art style from Let us cling together/Knight of Lodis

and yet, It's the same guy/team who did FFT, so no one can complain, NO ONE

It's not the graphics that put it at a disadvantage for developers, it was the motion controls themselves, completely new/never worked with before

But yeah, it does work really well as a secondary console.

Why does Classic dungeon have to be digital download only?

I mean, I already know the answer, but Z.H.P. doesn't appeal to me as much as another Disgaea on the psp would

The name alone is going to drive people off - Cladun? Really? They had to shorten an already short title by combining both words?

[QUOTE="charizard1605"] Considering that the DS is getting Super Scribblenauts, Pokemon Black and White, Okamiden, Golden Sun Dark Dawn, Final Fantasy 4 Warriors of Light, Kingdom Hearts Recoded, Dragon Quest VI, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future and so much more, I'm very sure we can be clear that it's clearly got a stronger lineup of upcoming games.charizard1605

The only titles that stand out to me in that list are Pokettumonstu buraku/waitto, Okamiden, Golden Sun and Professor Layton (and you forgot my personal favorite, Ghost Trick)

But you can't count the psp out just yet, considering Monster Hunter Portable 3, Peace Walker, God Eater Burst, Zettai Hero Project...I mean Project Diva 2nd sales are going to be almost as massive as MHP3 alone...

I totally forgot about Monster Hunter. Okay, I admit, the two are very close :P

I'd say the line-up is pretty close

The DS definitely has the advantage with Pokemon though.

I have a feeling like Okamiden is going to be a very short game

Make a new Tactics game :)locopatho

The Tactics Advance series is the wrong direction

I don't think they have it in them to recreate the magic that was the original

I'd say, let the Tactics series requiescat in pacem before it's besmirched any further

The psp actually has a lot of good titles out/coming out, but of course the DS has a game perfectly suited for it

I don't know if Okamiden is enough to upset Ys 7, Valkyria Chronicles 2, Kingdom Hearts: BBS...
