I didn't like Umbrella Chronicles, but I liked rail shooters like Overkill and Extraction. Now I'm on hold, if reviews and gameplay videos build my hype, I might buy it.
Tamborific's forum posts
it's the next step in the monkey island series. and as far as i know, NMH2 will keep the combat gameplay pretty similar to the first game, so i dont see why motion+ would be needed.BrunoBRS
Wrestling moves could easily benefit from M+. They could also work more with high/low and block mechanic with the increased precision.
It's not a rumor (the video part). It was posted by one of the developers (with a gamerep icon). I'm not going to do the search for you, but people are free to so themselves if they don't believe us. Everything has to be aproved by IW. Seeing how it would be in Treyarch's best interest to gain publicity for the game, I'm quite sure they would have posted many screenshots and videos if thye could.
Fyzxwhyz is one of the developers. He worked on the controls. Seehis postsif you don't believe us.

We are in the same page, talking about the same developer. The only thing he ever said in the subject is:
Q: Where's my trailer?
A: I don't know. I think the trailer people need to get with the program, but that's just me, and I don't have any say in it.fyzxwhyz
Unless you have posted the wrong source by mistake, accusing IW seems like a huge stretch; a rumor.
Okami would be up there but its not because it was originally released on the PS2jettpack
I don't see why Okami or RE4 shouldn't be allowed (besides being your pool). They are two great games and happen to be on the Wii. The "revolution" is about better controls and great gameplay after all.
For me Okami is the best Wii game launched to date. The brush system is perfect for the Wii, it just happen to be launched ahead of its time.
even in gamespot cod reflex forums its explained by the gamespot appointed developer from Treyarch.intro94
All I read is about a conspiracy theory from a random forum user, and the developers that worked with the controls of the game saying the he didn't know why no trailer has been released.
If you have a Treyarch developer actually corroborating the initial rumor, this is a big deal and posting the source would be great.
Motion control is still an infant. The original Wiimote was severely limited and even Nintendo used mindless waggle in Legend of Zelda: TP. Once Ninty opened the door many others entered. After a while Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, and few others managed to keep waggle at check.
Finally M+ allows basic spatial detection, and developers are still learning how to control the beast. Grand Slam Tennis comes to mind, constantly losing synchronization of your movements. A month later Wii Sports Resort Table Tennis, shows it's possible to keep synch even with wild movements.
Playing Wii Sports Resort anyone can see how much potential the accessory has. But Nintendo have to step up and do more for M+. Considering they were cooking the accessory for a while, they should have another 1st part game ready by now. A game like WarioWare "Plus" would be great to lead the way, and increase the installed base, but could be any quality title.
Red Still 2 will become a benchmark of how many M+ games can sell. But I believe Nintendo should be the one to dip their feet in this water.
Wii Sports Resort is a great tech demo, and M+ is not just a gimmick. But if you don't like Golf, you will be restricted to WSR for now.
There are tennis games too, but they have issues with the M+ losing synchronization, you can check reviews, and each official game forum to know more about it and decide if it's a deal breaker for you.
Are you arguing about the right EA have to set the price whatever they want? Because they already do that, and will continue do to so.
I'm not trying to convince you, just discussing how much DSE is worth for me, and why. If they set the price lower, with the marketing campaign still going on, maybe, the game could sell much more copies.
The game will eventually hit $40, $30, and bargain bin like others before it, but by then there will be no marketing to help with the sales.
No. When you reward producers for "effort" in production, you are going against the very principles of free market economies - you know, the kind of economic structure we ALL live in? If a pizza delivery guy is 30 minutes late because he forgot to fuel his bike, do you reward him for effort? No. If a company making a product can make more profit from it because they've automated the process, do you reward all the other companies that are "putting in more effort?" No. It's ludicrous.

Nice example, a pizza delivery that fail. That's exactly what the consumer feel compelled to reward... If two companies can build the exact same item what you say would apply. But that is hardly the case.
World of Goo is a great game, a huge success.
Could they ask for $50? Sure, it's a free market.
Would I pay $50? No.
Would you?
