Actually the update didn't stop any cheating for those 48 hours, because you are not required to update to play online.Every day. Last night everybody except the cheater was zapped to miniature size before the start of the race. We quit the race and waited for a new one.
The first step to cheating is to install the software which Nintendo miserably failed to block with the latest system update. Then install and run a program for cheating in Mario Kart.
Nintendo can't do anything about the cheating. Their latest system update worked for less than 48 hours. Probably more like 24.

Any news on people getting banned from online play for cheating? I never read anything about it either.
Just completed 20 stages, plus 20 extras. The game is fun, and I didn't have major problems with the controls. Selecting the blob skill is not perfect, but it didn't become an issue.
Main stages have many "checkpoints". Whenever you die you get back to the last checkpoint, saving a lot of time. You can die 10 times, take your time and still finish a stage in 5-8 minutes.
Extras require you to stay alive from start to finish, but they are generally shorter, 1-2 min.
One thing missing from this game is a level editor, and online for levels download.
I think not owning a PS3, 360 or high end pc, is quite different from just owning a Wii.Devil-Itachi
It comes down to an issue of time and money. Some of us have don't have enough of either to buy a new console. I'm perfectly content with just my Wii at the moment, and I've had it since launch.k_smoove
It's not of my business how anyone spends their money, but building/upgrading to a gamming PC is very cheap now. Only graphics cards stand out of a budged pc, and yet you can get one for ~ $50. If you would be happy playing these games with the Wii, you will be happy investing in a cheap graphic card.
Developers should spend their time creating Wii exclusives, instead of porting old games over. Unless they are like Okami, the drawing mechanic screams for a wiimote.
Second that. Trying to grown dungeon crops is hell right now.i love this game but i wish runeys were an optional thing that can only benefit you

But it's an awesome game.
I read this argument before, but in my opinion they would just sell twice as many games and just the same handhelds. If they make the console version integrate with the handheld with shared trainer id and universal online trading, battling, and tournaments.I know. :P
To be honest, I would be very surprised if one of the official installments in the flagship Pokemon series ever came to the console. Pokemon is one of the best-selling franchises ever, and is one of the major drivers of Nintendo's handheld sales. It seems to me that it would make extremely poor business sense to make one on the console, as then people wouldn't have to buy their handheld system in order to play Pokemon anymore.

They make rail shooters because the Wii is perfect for this kind of game and many enjoy them, I do. They don't care about making TPS games like Resident Evil 4, because they already did that, in 2005, and we are close to 2010 now.
Developers want to expand their franchises. The Wii is not the console of choice for this kind of effort because it limits what the developer can do differently from the past. Resident Evil 5 may be worst than RE4, but they didn't do that on purpose, and there's no reason to believe a Resident Evil "2009" Wii exclusive would be any better.
Check the other systems lineup and pick one with said new TPSs, there's no crime going multiplatform if you enjoy games.
Dude, read my post properly, Im not based on PR,but in a game ALREADY RELEASED from TREYARCH called WAW that kept same engine (COD4),environments and sizes(and thats not the only game). Surprised? The missing were the zombies and tanks(absent in MW).Hence the ignorant part.Dont confuse PS2 ports with Wii ports NOT based on Ps2 ports.Treyarch simply said this will be like last year but with the dlc maps included.Thats the same game.(I got WAW for PC-Wii).Again,bash it for being old, like okami. Not for "physics"lol.intro94
If you played both World at War for PC and Wii, and still think both are the same then you are talking about "same experience", "same feel". With that in mind I agree with you (no sarcasm). There's no need to nitpick about physics, AI downgrades when the player enjoy the game just the same.
[QUOTE="danger_ranger95"]See, that's what I thought, but even when I'm playing it in the dark, it still acts up. And it only seems to want to act up when I'm shooting.everyone has had an issue with this game in some shape or form, it's not just you!
I never had a problem with the reticule jumping though.... maybe it's a light source messing up your pointer signal?

Some time ago I moved the sensor bar around and had problems with my cursor jiggling around, even in the dark. I went to Wii Menu > Sensitivity and found out that there was 3 points showing in the screen when I pointed the Wiimote. I never investigated why it was happening, but my guess is the sensor bar reflected by the TV stand with sensor bar bellow the TV. The third dot was perfectly perpendicular with the other two. Once I changed the sensor bar position to above TV it never happened again.
Long story short, check the Sensivity screen and see if there are more than two dots showing when you point at the screen from your playing position.
why ignorant people keep speaking like WAW wii didnt exist, with the same sizes, physics and AI than the HD versions?why someone keeps spewing BS AFTER treyarch explained this year is THE SAME GAME MINUS GRAPHICS?Why i wonder.Bash it properly, not based on your lies.intro94
All that talk of next gen consoles handling bigger environments, superior AI and so on was BS to begin with. It sounds good on paper but it's not done in practice due to the amount ofbug testing it would require.

Oh if you are calling me ignorant it must be true! Good argument. MW will be the first game in the history of Wii, Xbox, Playstation multiplatform to give the same game minus graphics. It's just a shame you have nothing to backup that, but the word of Treyarch plubic relations.
On the other hand, every other multiplatform release to date has worst physics, artificial intelligence, smaller environment sizes on Wii. I'm not making this up; it's just the facts presented to us until now.
I beg to MW prove me wrong, but I will not hold my breath on this one, and bash it until then.
