my cousin sent his in and it took about a week and a half to 2 weeks(cant exactly remember but a little more then a week) and btw the repair center is in texas so depending where you are, that may conflict also
Take it back, and if they wont help, call some number on the back of the Forza book.Bryn5774
i agree, its worth taking it back, not sure if this helps but in past experience before i got my 360 i thought the one month live cards worked for the original xbox, long story short, it didnt work, yet the store still took back my opened xbox live card, so its worth a shot.

Wtf? How is anyone seriously supposed to answer this?Danold
he may have a point, but i would say if you play on it 4 hours a day then yeah, it might be on its last string, but if you play for an hour or 2 every couple days then it probly still has some life left in it, i'm not exactly sure if your covered, but even if it does break its still worth calling microsoft and seeing if the new warrentee's kicked in on even the oldest ones.
Ok awesome, I wasn't planning on getting one until then anyway. Thanks for the info. Pinzer
ok, i'm sure you've already seen but like other people have said, you can just get one, and its got the warrentee for 3 years now, and i've had my 360 since x-mas and its doing just fine. and you may say nay, but my cousin got one the same time i did, experienced the 3 rings of death. called microsoft, problem solved, microsoft even payed for the shipping and sent him a brand new xbox, so you have no worrys
