Would you pay $ 30-50 for 4 FPS?

Well i am assuming that you think the 8800GT is 4-5 fps more than the 3870.Well you are quite wrong over there.The 8800GT is about 20% faster than the 3870.

And well $30-40?Can you find me a 3870 cheaper than this 8800GT let alone $40 cheaper?

And DONT play crysis in DX10.It brings exactly what you are saying "stutering".Dont expect much better fps with DX9 but you will be surprised to see that occasional freeze absolutely gone.

If you dont know how to run crysis in DX9 in vista than just google it.
