Hey don't get me wrong, I'm all about nanotechnology but still... I think that's something my kids are going to be enjoying, while I try to tell them what it was like to have to download our games over the internet-- and it took FIVE MINUTES! In the SNOW! UPHILL both ways!!

:P

Sims games. I've been gaming for ages and I enjoy all types, but I can be totally geeking out with another gamer, and tell them I like The Sims and they're like "Oh, you're one of THOSE gamer chicks."

BAH.

Maybe they seem so cheesy because you have been overexposed?

I know that I have, but somehow my brain has rerouted itself to consider the cheesefactor as something akin to camp...
But hey, live long enough and nothing is going to be new, right?

Science fiction has a way of becoming science fact... That being said, don't think that our sharp minded video game manufacturers aren't spending half of their income on bringing gaming "to the next level".

But I have to say, as much as I enjoy my video games, getting into the whole motion sensor controllers is hard enough without having to worry about going under the scalpel for some nano chip insertion.
...
Then again, maybe I'm just too old fashioned. :)

I honestly can't remember which one it was, but there was an anime based on Street Fighter that I LOVED. There was this whole scene with Chun Li fighting Vega in her apartment that was amazingly epic. I need to find out what it was because I'd love to see it again.

Aside from that, the 1st Resident Evil movie comes to mind as well. I could almost smell the burning flesh with that one!

I'm a chronic backlogger.

It would be a lot worse if games weren't so damned expensive these days. But let's just say... there's nothing like that new game smell. ;)

While cooking dinner for some friends who came over for a party, I was explaining to one of them what the "red rings of death" were, turned on the 360 to show him my new game and... whaddya know? I got the RRoD!

Talk about BS timing, I was so upset. Happily though, I was able to send the system back and get it repaired. Although I WAS without my 360 for almost a week.

Come to think of it, I think that might be the only time I've ever had a system go kaput on me, not counting my PC of course. ;)

He wasn't that bad. But i thought the one in the market square that goes 'dwarfin crafts fine dwarfin crafts' was kinda annoying.

lolacat54

THIS! I avoided that end of the market like the plague, just so I wouldn't have to hear it again. For a little guy though, he can really project his voice! >=(
