Consoles.

Extended warranty,

controllers instead of keyboards/mouses,

better cost/benefit ratio (there's no denying that paying US$300,00 in 2006 for a 360 was better than what'd you get for a gaming rig with US$300,00),

longer-lasting (you buy a console, you stick with it for almost a decade),

easier (plug n'play, no hassle),

much more game optimization (you'd never get an un-trimmed behemoth like Crysis on a console -- a great game, but could've been much more optimized).

There are plenty more, but consoles are far superior to computers, for gaming.

Even better advice: use Linux.

[QUOTE="worlock77"]

[QUOTE="YellowOneKinobi"] How ironic would it be if, in this hypothetical situation, you were to pass away from cancer.Enid_Green

If I do I do. As I said, we all must die at some point. I'm fully aware of my mortality, and fully accept that chances are I'll die of cancer if something else doesn't get me first.

So you haven't received any vaccinations nor have taken any medications during lifetime? You'd refuse hospital care if you were injured?

He never said that. He said that life ends, eventually, and that if he ever met an irrefutable end, he'd accept it, not go into denial. Doesn't mean he wouldn't try his best to survive, before giving in. At least that's what he's saying, not sure if he'd act it out when called upon...

[QUOTE="Iantheone"]Pretty much all of my close friends have tried to kill themselves at some point in there lives. Enid_Green

Dumb friends, much? How can someone "try" to kill theirself? I mean, it's kind of hard to miss a point-blank shot at less than an inch.

1. Most teenagers don't have access to a firearm.

2. It is possible to change your mind.

If you change your mind before you kill yourself, you didn't try to kill yourself. And the firearm was the example. What I'm saying is, if someone whole-heartedly wants to kill himself, he will succeed. He'll test the rope's strength before he puts it on his neck, he'll check the building's height before he jumps and he'll make sure to take an extra dosage of pills. If he fails, he probably didn't want to kill himself, and either a) wanted to draw attention to himself, b) was insufficiently bothered with life to actually terminate it or c) was too afraid of post-death events to end his life prematurely.

C and B are keeping me alive.

[QUOTE="mrmusicman247"] People will do anything for sport these days..Phaze-Two

Yes, well I particularly dislike sports that involve killing/hurting other living beings. Go play football or darts, not harpoon a damn whale.

plenty of people have died from football (american) and they get hurt all time, though.

but yeah i agree. i used to shoot squirrels and birds with my bb gun. man i was merciless. i must have killed dozens. i feel so bad about it, now that I'm a man.

Plenty of people have died crossing the street or choking on a piece of salad. Point? There's quite a difference between a sport where you WANT to kill something, and a sport where hurting someone is collateral damage.
