They can't rely on used-games sales as they used to. Everything is going digital. Set up download stations so people can buy a digital copy and download it quicker than at home.
Set up gaming spaces to make it social. Buying a game could be an EVENT like it used to be.
The flying enemies weakness of Amara reminds me of Brick and Krieg, too. Too bad they didn't come up with a solution? Sounds like she's going to be my 2nd play-through character, after all.
@BadJujuEA: I think he meant that the emotional journey and character building peters out, in favor of the action and plot ramping up. I'm excited to play and get my own opinion this weekend!
@Marky360: yeah, good way to put it. I think I meant in the broader sense, people weren't expecting open areas and backtracking in God of War, but it worked really well.
The Division 2 was my favorite game this spring, so more of that could be a good thing. Still not sold on the survival aspects, but it sounds like they aren't as pervasive as I once though.
that's actually a fun way to refer to it, so I will from now on call it "New Modern Warfare" :p
I don't mind a shorter campaign. Not every game needs to be 80 hours long. I'll get that and more from MP alone, but I have a tradition of beating the campaign before I touch MP. I think Infinite Warfare had the longest campaign - that sadly not many people played.
