This post is so ridiculous. That picture is of a wall/cable THROUGH an electronic device! That is not reality, that picture changes depending on the resolution and megapixles of the camera. Reality has infinite "textures" so much so that if you keep on going into it you get to atoms and beyond atoms is the quantum realm. We don't "let things like that into our lives" because that is not reality, its a digital camera photograph!! What a ridiculous post! think things through before you post, for your own sake. And besides, it sounds like this post is some pathetic attempt to defend the Wii or something else's archaic graphics with seriously flawed reasoning.

Well why would retailers voluntarily shift quickly when they can make a hefty profit from the previously established rate of goods? Not right but a reality.

copyrights are on designs not on a concept. ps3/360 could develop their own software and design producing the same technology. You see there are millions of varieties of, say, forks in the world right? But the company that makes that design for that specific fork own that design not the concept of making an eating implement. By your logic of copyrights we would only have one type of fork, spoon, ect in the world.

And what do yoy mean the ps3 or 360 wouldn't have the "power" to emulate anything. If the tweaked gamecube (and that is what it is, same cpu and graphics gpu and ram) the ps3/360 by all logic can do it and do it far better rendering the Wii obsolete at its own one horse race, its controller.

Well its settled then, the Wii's just a controller, and one that could be easily emulated for the 360/ps3 by even a 3rd party for those systems. What a precarious position.

@Caviglia

And what very important difference is that? Please define.

I would say having the option to choose how you wanted to play is superior, either standard or motion, which the nextgen systems are hypothetically capable of through emulation of the controller. Not have it shoved down your throat and forced to pay an exorbitant price for it. By my guesstimate they are charging $120 for the controller since the Wii is just a 3rd generation tweaked gamecube. And also with the option of choice on the other systems comes far more advanced technology with that option of choice. Sounds good to me.
