Microsoft shut Sony's entire 2011 line-up down with just one game - Gears of War 3...67gt500

To bad I don't care to much about RPG games other than Mass Effect and the Star Wars ones. I tried to play the other Elder Scrolls games but GOD they are just so slow, boring and kinda stupid I mean there are cat people in the game really? Sorry just not my cup of tea.

I know TC this year has been crazy with game releases and its even worse for me because I own both a ps3 and 360. Since Sept I have bought Madden12 ( recently, traded it for MW3), Gears 3, Batman Arkham City, and Modern Wafare 3. Black Friday I am buying Uncharted 3 and BF3. Then in December I am buying WWE 12, AC Revelations, and MGS HD Collection. Other games I have bought this year Dead Space 2, DC Universe Online, Mortal Kombat, Infamous 2 (though I have traded in all those games to buy other games expect DC Universe Online because you can't resell that game).

Seems that after the infinite posts about how 360 has nothing and no exclusives in 2012, this thread came and negated them all

It was obviously going to attract the "interest" of the million users that made the millions posts about 360 "lack of exclusives" and how MS has "abandoned the hardcore gamer"

Now it has turned to just trying to downplay all these 16 hardcore exclusives, by calling them anything from casual crap to garbage and other such amazingly interesting comments, months before they are even released and reviewed, with the usual crystal ball that shows everything on 360 as very bad and on PS3 as amazing AAA title

MS is too focused on the caual crowd with this kinect stuff. Hardcore games on the 360 only have Halo, Gears, Forza, and Fable to look forward to as yearly releases (Though Gears is not a yearly release yet). The rest of the time the the 360 crowd has to look to multiplats, which is fine but is not helping the 360 difference itself from other systems like ps3 and pc who also have those same games.

But why would anyone buy the 360 when they can play the same multiplat games on other systems like ps3 and PC plus those repective systems exclusives. MS has become arrogant and is taking its fanbase for granted. They think giving gamers the same 4 exclusives and some multiplats like Call of Duty every year is enough. Not all of the ps3 exclusives are home run's but a lot of them are good games. I appluade Sony for trying unlike MS.

Ps3 has a larger line up of exclusives that vary and are not just shooters.

I am glad at least more people are buying the ps3. Lets face it the 360 isn't as great as it was during the high of its popularity 2007. Now the 360 is a aging console with extremely limited exclusives. A few mulipats like COD and excluives like gears and xbox live are the only things keeping it alive really.
