ME2's combat > ME1's combat

ME2's characters (everything from the characters themselves to the character development) > ME1's characters

ME2's environments > ME1's environments

ME2's re-playability > ME1's re-playability

ME2 doesn't have the mako or elevators :D

ME2's story maybe isn't quite as good at ME1, but in no way is it bad. I really didn't mind spending so much time developing the team, in fact I liked it a lot.

For me the choice the obvious, ME2, hands down, I'm not even sure if I could stand to play ME1 again.

This happen to anyone? Way back when Steam was having its New Years/Holiday sales, I bought Beyond Good and Evil. The game runs way too fast, but the audio plays normally, now I found that setting the affinity to one core/cpu or whatever works pretty well to fix that. It's only SLIGHTLY too slow, but it's only noticeable during cutscenes over a minute or two long the dialogue becomes only a little off sync. I tried the same solution for Deus Ex GOTY, but in that it runs very noticeably slow.

Is there any other fixes for this?

I already bought Indigo Prophecy, Oddworld Pack, Beyond Good and Evil, Brothers in Arms 1 and 2, Torchlight, Jade Empire, and Somarost2 (idk how many times I played Somarost 1, lol). I'm waiting to see what they have for their daily deals from here on out, I'm hoping for Thief 3 or Psychonauts to drop to around $5-7. If they don't, I might buy Psychonauts anyway, or get Trine, idk.

Sorry, I did redeem it and no, I have no intention of downloading it. I have other games I'd much rather play and I would rather not waste the time, bandwidth, or hard-disk space on a game I have absolutely no interest in.

It'd be like me gifting you a 20GB version of Barbie: Fashion Designer 4 and then demanding you try it because it's deeper than versions I-III.

Well it's your own fault for redeeming it. You couldv'e sold it to someone else if you hadn't. I sent a bunch of TF2 to friends when it was on sale for 2$, and still have a few left because not everyone claimed it. Steam would NEVER let you resell games. The opportunity costs of that is negative.

I don't see any reason in letting you getting your money back, or regifting a game if you haven't downloaded it yet, hopefully they do something later.

Yeah it seems like it's taking forever, lol, but you can't complain, it's not like they had to make it in the first place.

I forgot I recorded a vid of Deus Ex, its kinda crap quality visually, but the weird jumpy-ness you can kinda see, and the undeniable speed is exactly how it is.

This never used to happen, but now some of my older games are kinda screwy. I have Deus Ex GOTY on steam, it worked completely fine, then like a month after I plast played it, it was acting weird. I was moving really fast, and no it wasnt a cheat. Then one day I had a little cousin over, and I dont really have much games kids could play but he found Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in my closet so i installed it for him. Now that is acting the same way, only it seems to randomly be either too slow or too fast. Now i bought Beyond Good and Evil cause I rented it on ps2 like 4 years ago, and loved it. I just installed it and ran it and it too is going way to fast, the guy's mouth in the opening cutscene starts moving before he actually talks. I have no clue what could cause this, I'm, 75% sure i didnt install between the time of them working and not working. I dont think it's hardware issure since like I said before Deus Ex and HP used to work perfectly fine. Does anyone have any ideas what i could do?
