Well there isn't exactly a huge graphical difference between the 2 but CoD4 does look better. I think its because CoD4 was designed to be a next gen game where as WaW has a version on the PS2 as well. Probably wasn't made to look good as CoD4 but equally as fun. NAZI ZOMBIES!!!

You know, you want to look at pictures whilst ingame, which is fair enough, you want to do that but why? I mean, I know the PS3 is more of an 'entertainment hub' but it is still a GAMES CONSOLE! Play some games and don't worry about all these stupid commodities.

With all the people that think its gonna come out 2009, I wish I could be so optimistic but I personally doubt that GoWIII could be out next year. The fact is, this is Next Gen GoW, where GoWII came out fairly quickly after the original, it still shared the same game engine. The third one, I think, will be from scrath and will therefore have a longer creative process then GoWII. March 2010 I reckon.

Uncharted will seem weird at first, it did to me. Once you get over that you won't be dissapointed. Believe me, once you've completed it you WILL feel the need to go back and play through it atleast once more.

And if you want those trophies, several times.

does oblivion have after math?

Technically it could. After players dedicated hours upon hours of game time to it, they finally turned off their game consoles and realised that life around them has rotted away, leaving them with nothing but 100+ hours on Oblivion.... That is the aftermath of Oblivion.... Nah, I don't know, never played it.

...but why?

 Did you read his post at all?

He's buying NEW games for Christmas, so he is moving on .. ;)

Oh.. so he can't play CoD4 anymore? :(

Boooooo.

I still play my copy, but that's probably why I don't understand TC's reasoning.

Join him! Have a final game of COD4 with him and then move on.

To be honest, I agree. I don't like the fact that once the story is complete then thats it, game finished. This isn't what an RPG should do in my opinion. Of course, I've spent most of my time exploring the wastes and doing all the side quests but I do feel that Bethesda should of taken the Fabled 2 approach and have it so that when the storyline ends it simply opens more quests for you to do.

But still, aside from that, Fallout 3 is great. A wonderful game.

sounds like BioShock doesnt have much replay value if you dread replaying it so much. I'll rent it instead of waiting for price drop. I dont know man, get over it. Much worse things could happen. And it not like a long campaign like GTA, or an RPG was ruined,,, it was like 8 hours probablysignore

It's not so much that it doesn't have reply value. It's simply that Bioshock has 3 different endings depending on what your actions are in Rapture. I was working towards the ending you get if you harvest all the little sisters. Being INCREDIBLY close to the end and then losing my save data is just frustratingly annoying. If I'd completed it and saw the ending, I would of been compelled to start over and try the game from another perspective but since I have to start all over again without having completed it yet, well, it makes me feel to very lethargic having to play through the same way I did before.

Did you at least kick his ass? I feel for you man the idea of having to go through Bioshock again from the beginning is NASTY. Its a great game but not one to play many a time in a short time.-HeaveR-

He got the train back home before I realised! Checked the save times and realised it was when I was asleep. Ugghhh I know it shouldn't annoy me this much but I keep thinking about and it frustrates me, I was SO close to beating it, I'd happily butchered all the little sisters and harvested them. But nooooo, got to do all that again now!

When I was in high school me and a friend had a plan. A 24hour gaming session. Basically, set up all the consoles we had and just play, 2 TV's, a lot of consoles and 2 GBA's. When on a break, you had to take the GBA with you, when making food ect. Basically the weekend we did it, Legend of Zelda Wind Waker was released so we both bought a copy, set up our GC's and 2 TV's and basically played nonstop all weekend. Good times.
