Um okay... sorry to sound skeptical but what is your source?

Metal Gear Solid the movie is barely past pitch stage with no script and no casting office assigned. You provide a link to Escape from NY which is a totally different movie and the remake of that has Gerard Butler starring in it - not Christian Bale.

Source please?

CBR600-RR

"According to a Nuts magazine interview, Bale stated that he will be playing the role of Solid Snake in a Metal Gear Solid film adaptation, due for release in 2009"

This is from Wikipedia. Heres the link. Go look under the "2006 and beyond" section. It is the last sentence.

Okay... your source is Nuts Magazine? It says he is "IN THE RUNNING" that doesnt mean he is closed. I have yet to hear anything about this in the trades. I will call the casting coordinator and see if they have an official casting director or if their office will be doing all of the casting and see how official Amy Adams even is as Meryl (so says Wikipedia too).

Wow...sorry....

dont say sorry to him, he is one of those people who wants a "source" because he doesnt believe anything people say, imo those type of people annoy me

I know, I was just quite taken back by the fact that I verbally lashed out at for...well...making a mistake? I just typed it out quick cause I found this news out tonight and was quite excited. Just people like that shock and annoy me, not by the fact my flaw and mistake and apprently 'stupidity' was thrown in my face, but the fact that they corrected me in a way a mother would correct their 8 year old child when they have done something bad.

[QUOTE="CBR600-RR"]yes i remember that futuristic film, what was it called? the guy was called Snake wasn't he? Kurt Russel would definately suite him, he even sounds like Snake in that film.Zentrenius

Escape from New York, followed by the sequel Escape from L.A.

Hideo Kojima based the character Solid Snake on Snake Plissken from Escape from New York. Snake Plissken was played by Kurt Russel which is why I feel that he should play Snake in the MGS Movie. But in an interview with 'Nuts' magazine Bale state he will be playing the role solid snake in the MGS movie due for release in 2009.

The truth is the earth is 'greener' then it has been for a long time. Think back around 90 years ago when England was just a huge industrial country. The sheer amount of waste we produced and fuels we pumped into the air was just unbelievable. People are recyling more and more these days.

Although it is true that more can be done, but a lot is being done now. Don't be too worried, future generations will pay for our mistakes AHAHAHHA!

I just read this again and ugh....really, $7,000? She must make $7,000 in her sleep. Her freshly, squeezed crap would be worth $7,000!

And bollocks it was about 'creativity' and that someone was using her artistic merits for their own gain. She praised the website, the second the guy decides to make a bit of money from this, she gets upset and sues him because there was nothing in it for her.

Quite a few. When I was a kid me and my brother were 'play fighting' in the back garden and he pushed me back that hard that I flew back from him and hit the fence behind our house. My head bounced off a nail sticking through the wood. It bled really badly and I remember my Mum wiping blood from my hair while I cried.

Another one on a family holiday me and my brother were swimming and he picked up a stone and threw it at me and it hit me right above my eye.

I also remember jumping into a swimming pool, not realising that the night before someone had thrown a bottle into it. My foot basically landed in broken glass and sliced it up.

And right now I've pulled a muscle in my leg, on th back of my thigh and it hurts to even walk on it at the moment.

"I used to like Will Wright. He created Sim City, a fantastic game that celebrated the earth that God created for us and allowed you to use all your God given abilities to make an ideal society. But if you ever felt like you had too much power, God would come in with a tornado or an earthquake and put you back in place."

This made me laugh. Can imagine God watching you and then going "YOU HAVE TOO MUCH POWER! I WILL SMITE THEE!.....GET 'EM KATRINA!"
