Clearly being worth £450,000,000 was not enough for J.K Rowling.

"A princess are you? A princess of the land of SSSHHHHHHHHH"
Forgot which comedian said that but still cracked me up
[QUOTE="TheCraving"][QUOTE="Jillian11"]I was in a time in my life where I was extremely depressed. I was the odd one out, people just didn't like me. I wore all black clothing and listened to metal music. Everything sucked and I even wanted to kill myself many times. I don't anymore now, I'm actually very, very happy now. The only advice that I can give for the people that are down and out is basically think of the positive things. Think of your wants and desires, don't laugh at other's misfortune and don't hurt/insult anyone. Be nice to people and you will feel so much better, if you keep a streak going, it'll seriously make you feel something like you've never felt before. I know it sounds crazy but this seriously works.blackngold29
But other peoples misfortune is SOOOOOO funny!
The again I have a very twisted sense of humor. I remember once watching 'Tears in Heaven' by Eric Clapton on youtube and some guy left a comment saying "Man, this song goes on forever. Unlike his kids life ahahha!" OH lord how I laughed. You see?
It won't be funny when you laugh at that one depressed dude who snaps and pulls out his shotgun or tazer. This is true. But oh well, its easy to laugh at others misfortune from a distance when it has no personal effect on you what so ever. If I met some person on the street in tears telling me their kid has died I would probably be very sympathetic to that person.
I'm sat here listening to the album now. A friend downloaded it and burned it for me. EAT IT LARS!
It's good, impressive musicianship, but I don't get the same feeling of substance from the older songs such as For Whom the Bell Tolls, Fade to Black, Master of Puppets, One ect ect. Still good though. Good to see James' voice still isn't messed up like in their 06 tour.
I should hope everyone hates depression. I hate the idea of the definition of misery being romantasized and made to look...cool? I don't know if thats the right word but its sad when people WANT to be seen as miserable or depressed.
But yeah, it does suck. It's a horrible feeling. My friends used to say I was emotionally dead inside since I never expressed any kind of happiness or sadness except for extreme surges of anger from time to time. Now I get depressed over the fact that my life is going completely nowhere, I'm stuck in a crap job with no future and the only thing that is keeping me sane is my girlfriend who is at university and that sometimes makes me feel obsolete since she gets to hang out with all these 'psudeo artistic types' that sit around debating Nietzsche, Rousseau, Aristotle while drinking wine and reading fine literature whilst looking down on me since to them I'm the scum of the earth that didn't go to University and sits at home reading Geroge Orwell, Hubert Selby Jr and Chuck Palahniuk, playing computer games and watching films whilst smoking cigarettes and green. Bah.
Also when I was 15 my parents finally divorced after 9 hours of beating the complete the crap out of each other nightly. So yeah, that messed me up somewhat.
Oh well:P
[QUOTE="wiidog"]Warhawk is a blast! If you dont like Warhawk then you can kiss off.CzenkusThat sums up the warhawk crowd pretty much, defending a bland par avereage game to the death. to the OP I feel you bro, I purchased it aswell, played for awhile.. started owning folks and then fell asleep at the wheel. Don't let the fanboys make you feel bad for not liking a game.
But at the same time, aren't you and him making us 'fanboys' feel bad for liking, what was it you called it a "bland par average game"?
All I'm saying is, you read his original post and the only thing he really gets annoyed about is the graphics, when graphics don't have to be everything and gameplay can tip those scales and still make it a good experience.
[QUOTE="PSP107"]custom soundtracks will only appeal to more consumers. This is suppose to be about CREATIVITY.Blur_Fan
Consumers!? What do you think you are? What does xmb music have to do with being a consumer market?
I'm saying that I want customizable soundtracks for the level creator. When I spend a long time making levels, I don't want to be subjected to the same looped music the whole time.
Plus, what does creativity have to do with it? Maybe I'm most creative when listening to Sonic Youth or Aphex Twin.
Hence my question...
If theres an option to put your soundtracks to your levels...then I ain't playing yours. I can imagine it now, got my little sackboy, jumping through your level...suddenly..."I'LL.....EAT.....YOUR...SOUL.....WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
No thank you:P
In the fight just before Snake and Liquid injects each other, an acoustic guitar starts playing over the sounds of them absolutely battering each other. That bit made me sad, in a way that...despite everything being done and Snake basically saved the world, him and Liquid still just simply wanted to beat the crap out of each other and finally settle everything in a fist fight.
