Think there is any chance any of the major retailers have poster GTA IV early?
I know you always get some abscure shop in the middle of some...unknown place releasing games early. But do you think there is any chance of the retailers may have sent it out?

I agree with what you r saying but in my moms defense she doesnt shield me from it she just doesnt want me to indulge in it 24 7.
Well I can see where she too is coming from but I think sex shouldn't be the issue....what with all the drugs, violence, langauge, theft ect ect thats gonna be in the game.

Im going to my local game store in Sheffield England at midnight tomorrow. I have never done this before so I dont know what to expect, wondering if there will be a queue a mile long. I have my preorder receipt so Im hoping I should get it ok.

I went to the midnight opening of San Andreas when it was released. Waited outside GAME at the Manchester Arndale. I have to say it was a great atmosphere. Despite being underage when I went (I was 17) I got myself a copy and a free bandana as well. If you're up for it mate, I'd go for it, its a lot of fun.
End of the day, it is just a computer game. So its dark, gritty and sometimes possibly disturbing, its a under-side of life people often refuse to see. Like Bret Easton Ellis did with 'American Psycho', it was disturbing, sick and twisted but still a complete masterpeice when showing how shallow and lifeless people can be.
GTA IV, yes is a computer game but still the work of someones creative mind, which is art and art needs to be recognised.
If you're talking anout GTA I pre-ordered mine from HMV on the 4th April. They then upped it to special delivery (at no extra cost, I might add) and last night I received an email its been dispatched. There is a SLIGHT possiblity it could be tomorrow but it'll probably be Tuesday morning.
Mine won't be till tuesday either. If its monday we'll be lucky. But that sometimes happens from time to time with games, they do arrive a day early of the release date.
