I've had my Z-2300's for a while now, and I can say that if you're looking for home theater speakers that will fill your house with tunage - This setup is NOT what you're looking for.

The Z-2300's are a solid 2.1 setup for your PC, but they're not meant to blast music throughout your neighborhood. Honestly, if you're blowing your speakers due to volume issues, you need to seek an actual home theater setup with floor speakers etc.

Is your PS3 wired or wireless?

Either way, you may try setting it up with a static IP; which is to give it a single IP address instead of having it assigned one every time you turn it on by your Router.

You may then, if you're still getting the error, try to open up the ports that the PSN uses and then forward them to the static IP you assigned for your PS3.

There are some Netbooks available for $300, and some of 'em can play games fairly well. You should look into it. :)

Kinda got away from the whole big-city cop thing... Looks a little too much like Far Cry.

I run a primary server for music/movies which is wired to a wireless N gigabit router. I have a multimedia PC (wired) for movies etc on my TV, and 2 gaming rigs, also wired. Finally, I have 4 laptops (wife & kids) all hooked wirelessly.

Network Magic does a great job keeping track of everything, and even lets me control connects etc. from visiting PC's.

There used to be a big debate about this kind of thing. Some said that the more you shut it down, the harder it was on the equipment. Others said that the longer you let it run, the harder it was on your equipment. Since, the equipment is made so that you can shut it down every day and be just fine.

I'm not sure there is a "right" answer, but personally - I shut mine down every couple of days or so. I clean it (inside dust) once a week. My house is a steady 76° and my case is well ventilated, so I don't have to worry about heat.

So... yeah. That's my take. :)

You can try Network Magic (Pro). I use it for my home network to track connects and usage. It may be what you're looking for.

Unless your pushing a hi-end graphics card, a 500W PSU will be fine. The only thing I'd suggest for a PSU is to go with a name brand, like Thermaltake, Cooler Master, or Corsair. There are some other good brands out there, but stay away from "too good to be true" and cheaper PSU's. It's an important buy.

Are you not installing it off of the original game disk?
