@TohouAsura @TheGamerPhenom Not particularly. I still contend that 360 was the way to go last gen. But this gen is clearly in the favor of the PS4. I'm simply saying, it's not ridiculous to pay $5 a month for all that they are offering with it. And it doesn't limit you from most other things on the console
@Sorciere_basic You get free games, no block to media services if you don't use it, and it's still cheaper than Live. I don't see how it isn't both completely fair, and completely warranted. It will only improve the PSN servers to play on.
@TohouAsura Actually, we weren't. YOU passed it off as something you needed to use the PS4, which is beyond factually untrue. I've seen quite a few single player games that won't require PS+ from me, that will take up more than enough of my time. $5 for multiplayer, and free games a month isn't a huge deal, particularly not when I'm coming from being a consistent Gold Member.
Think about it in this light: Sony can use this money charged to A) Continue to offer the PS4 at a much cheaper price than other consoles on the market, and B) Use these charges to improve the PSN, which has long been one of the big knocks cited against going with Sony. For everything else I'm getting over the "One," $5 a month isn't really that bad. And let us note, if you don't want multiplayer, you don't HAVE to get it. There is nothing forced on you, unlike a certain other company.
@Ace6706 Hey, I'm a former 360 user, and I'll be perfectly fine with paying the same, or less for this. Microsoft had their chances, and only had a "meh" conference for me. And then Sony got rid of every negative Microsoft has tried to play off, and looked genius doing so. They've won my buy for this generation, at least at first.
