@Fryboy101 @TheGamerPhenom Who isn't looking at it logically? I wasn't specifically talking about the "One" when I said "another" crappy Kinect game. As a general rule, Microsoft has been trying to push these Kinect games across ever since they came out with the crappy peripheral, and have had no success with it. So yes, I will make a comment when I see another one being made.
And let us note, you made the first assumption here, when you seemingly thought I was "too busy bitching about the console to even notice." In response to that, I have been paying very, very clear attention to what Microsoft is releasing, and putting out there. And when your big game reveal is a Call of Duty, you have fallen far behind what I would consider a successful debut.
@Overeduk8ed @BelaidKL Not very many of us are as young as your may think "gramps." And what you call jaded cynicism, I'm calling being realistic. I'll wait while you try and come up with five games that have had any kind of level of success being based solely on the Kinect. And fitness games, or games that simple integrate controls don't count.
Some of us want to see this new console be successful. But at the end of the day, whether you believe it or not, Gamespot's community represents the feelings that go with a large part of the gaming community right now. And instead of seeing crappy, third party, cheaply produced Kinect games, we'd simply like to see decently produced, strong games that are actually entertaining to play.
@XxTheEvilxX @TheGamerPhenom Yep. I'm in the same boat. And there is still the slight chance that they could impress me at E3. But they has best be saving some huge stuff for E3, or else I'll move on to the PS4, or computer gaming personally.
@Fryboy101 @TheGamerPhenom What, you mean another crappy racing game that is just another repeat in a series? Wow, super impressive. If I'm too busy complaining, you're too busy being blinded by fanboyism to see that so far, Microsoft has shown nothing to convince the large majority to buy their product. Even if it didn't have all the other crap surrounding it that wasn't about the games, so far, the games announced are crap. Or do we need a refresher on the TV, TV, TV, TV, TV . . . SPORTS, SPORTS, SPORTS, SPORTS video.
Wait . . . this was the big Harmonix reveal? Likely another crappy Kinect game? Oh the joys . . . I likely will NOT be getting this ever. I really hope this isn't one of the exclusive new IPs Microsoft promised, because if it is, they are off to a very rough start.
@ivan_osorio As good a breakdown of the situation as I've seen. I don't think many people are honestly saying it's their biggest concern about the "One" going forward, but he simple prospect and idea of it is just crazy.
@ivan_osorio I'm not fully at that point yet, but I'm close. E3 is Microsoft's last chance to convince me otherwise. They screw that up, and I'll likely head to PC . . .
