While I respect your opinion, what that supposed to be better? The art direction and atmoshpere I saw in that vid was terrible :|

I dont even know why its being praised at all for either category.

Halo Reach is halo 3.5

Gears 3 is Gears 2.5

Crysis 2 is Crysis 1.5

This has got to be the most ignorant and annoying statement people make on system wars. (and by ignorant I dont mean stupid, but just devoid of the facts)

The sole factor behind these claims is nothing more than ignorance. The game looks like 2.5 for the same reason Halo Reach looks like Halo 3.5 to me.

Nope and I have absolutely no intention of ever playing it either.

Its just funny how much lemmings hyped it up. They were also very arrogant with their claims that "it will score better, sell better and be the better game, than Heavy Rain because anything microsoft > Sony"

And it did neither. In fact, Heavy rain isnt that far behing Mass Effect 2 to be honest.

Actually watch the first 2 videos I posted at least just the first 2 (the 3rd is an old one) but in particular, look at the environment and everything they have going on to perfectly paint the setting. The solitary feel, the way the snow kicks up and blows around in the wind, the way the water itself behaves. It really gives you a feeling that you are really in a huge artic area, and the way the water behaves makes you feel like its a real vast ocean.

I present to you what will most likely be the greatest art direction this generation. Yes, better than Uncharted, god of war, and even Metroid prime. This game will steal the Art Direction and Atomosphere king crown!

Now, as for atomosphere, watch all three of these videos.

The first 2 are the move pax demos, but you are watching them for the atmosphere. They have put so much effort into delivering the best atmosphere possible. Things like the way the snow blows around, and the water, they really painted the setting very well.

Because it's a first party IP and a second party dev? oO Sega is a stand alone 3rd party who usually supports all platforms. But well, there are quite a lot of titles Sega releases only on one or two platforms oO
