[QUOTE="TheEroica"][QUOTE="TheWiikestLink"]sigh.... so sad. "a nice generic playing rpg...." just so sad. It is very very generic? Generic universe, generic characters, generic interaction. You don't think KOTOR or Jade Empire or DA didn't have character interaction? now kotor was a good game, far beyond this,as for the cinematic experience,MGS4 ending alone destroys this game....all the endings in this game were dull in comparison.not even by a long shot, mgs and uncharted are far more like a movie experience than this game....reason why uncharted has won what? almost every single game of the year and best console game? me has won best...rpg? thats all it is a nice generic playing rpg.

[QUOTE="TheWiikestLink"][QUOTE="MrFanboy"] lol ok you want my definition of teamwork. From this site: the ability to work efficiently as a team Source: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/teamwork Now like it said, squad leaders give you orders ON THE FLY(you keep ignoring this) not objectives of the game type itself like like counter-strike where you got to point A to get the hostages or defuse bomb or plant it etc People follow these orders by giving extra XP and by the interface which guides the player to do what the leader told him to do, so this is a diferent way then communicating then the MIC and much MORE efficient then the mic since people might not know the map like their own hand or might have misunderstood or might be underwhelmed with information and forget about what the commander said etc, THE DYNAMIC INTERFACE is a better IMPROVED MIC. And remember ON THE FLY TACTICS, not predefined stuff like go to point A and get more xp.headquarters on mw2 gives you objectives on the fly too..... : / Anyway so you still fail in this arguement since you proved me right by saying its still all objectives .....on the fly or not the end result is the same, not only that but your whole warhawk doesnt use teamwork is complete nonsense...since all games use teamwork. but its the persons CHOICE to work as a team or not..thanks for proving me right. Btw dont you think a 1st time noob with a map with a million markers, HUD full of icons with the ingame voice telling him,DESTROY the bunker is a bit more confusing than just telling him personally hey dude follow me and ill take you,or hey dude just follow the BLUE dot on your map,cuz the red ones means danger or whatever...or hey dude, surround the blue dot and were all gonna flank it at the same time. doesnt that make more sense than just using pre set messages and such? you know HUMAN commands, something else what if your not the leader and noobie mcnoobish is...and he doesnt know how to work the leadership role? what do you resort to? MIC correct? why? because its faster and easier...thank you and good bye...you are the wiikestlink. I said orders not OBJECTIVES and like i said your leaders give them, not the game itself like in headquarters in MW2(did you even read what i said?) Oh and about the MIC, the whole follow me thing is terrible, because if the guy he is following dies, he is left confused, instead the leader can point it out on the interface of his squads mates easily, so even on your own example, MIC fails and DYNAMIC INTERFACE wins and inteface is very well done,i knew exactly what each icon meant after playing 1 war, the icons in the interface are intuitive. The other thing is leaders aren't random dudes they have to get leaderpoints and the ones with the best rank will always be picked, so if i am not picked someone better then me will, which is a good thing. I do not get why you are looking at this from a "i win by choosing to ignore things you say,you lose debate" perspective instead of a " exchange of information, to seek enlightenment", which seriously makes me think you are trolling. http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?pager.offset=1&cId=3177786&p=37MrFanboy
"And here's where MAG might turn out to be a noble failure. This is one of those rare shooters built around a dream -- some would say a pipe dream -- that players will voluntarily adhere to the sort of command structure you need in a military operation. The few times I've been a squad leader, I've gotten zero communications from the platoon leader. And I often play with squad leaders who seem to have no idea how to use the objective system"
huh guess i ended the arguement with a bang huh?
"There is no in-game tutorial and there's nothing in the manual. There is no off-line or single-player mode for you to figure out how things work. MAG is a game of trial and error. If you're lucky, you'll play with someone who explains these things to you" huh didnt i say that before? someone explaining thru MIC? lol
LOL. Here you go. Scene from ME[QUOTE="93soccer"][QUOTE="Drakes_Fortune"] You dont wanna compare ME facial animations to FF13. You really dont know what your talking about.Drakes_Fortune
Lol alright you just owned yourself. That video just made my point. Characters are empty and with no emotion in their expression. Anyone that played FF13 or even any previous FF knows how good FF facial animations are.
agreed he did just own himself....their facial expressions are are bland as a hindu cow.[QUOTE="TheWiikestLink"][QUOTE="MrFanboy"] lol ok you want my definition of teamwork. I do not get why you are looking at this from a "i win by choosing to ignore things you say,you lose debate" perspective instead of a " exchange of information, to seek enlightenment", which seriously makes me think you are trolling. i look at it that way because YOU decided to say sumthing then completely change the subject....to the point your giving me a noobie guide to how to play mag....that had NUTHING to do with what we were talking about,,,Your 1st comment said mag acctually uses teamwork, unlike warhawk, which then i replied "thats false, every game uses teamwork" every dev has TEAMWORK implemented in their games to reach a common goal...which is to win....this is a fact...you then went on how mag is different because its on the fly and what not...but in reality its still all the same....your are given ORDERS by the game to do objectives...you do them, you win, simple as that....lets not try to complicate something that really isnt to complicated to begin with....you have a big menu you decide what you want your team to do,and its up to THEM to do it..like i said before IMO its better to just use a mic like normal human beings but i cant just say its better cuz its obviously opinion...i would think using common sense people talking among each other would be a easier way to get things done rather than listen to what the game says depending if the squad leader isnt a complete lacky.....but thats not what the arguement was about. 1 more thing before i go to work.....leaders ARE random dudes .......you go into a room and the guy with the most experience gets to be leader(experience means time played and knowledge and understanding) problem is even then people with 100 hours in the game can suck.....which again is common sense...if i bought mag today and hopped on,im already more qualified than the first 20 leaders i play with because im a gamer....ive read strategy books and videos...ive seen videos on tactics and things to do and not to....so your whole "if im not picked sumone whos better will be" is just ridiculous.....i would love to see you to join a room and have the most casual gamer leader in the world, but since hes got better stats than you,hes better than you... : DMrFanboy
this is a A and B conversation so can you please C your way out? When its the kids turn to speak ill let you know. Read what i posted then come back because i never said it was not considered teamwork i said its not considered in it to win it,in contrast with my method...my method of teamwork is acctually getting on the mic at least and get everyone on the same page, going into a pubby and placing markers is not teamwork by MY definition, reason why i asked him what HIS definition was....in which he goes into damage control, and you come out of the bushes to talk about something you do no fully understand...TEAMWORK means to work as a group to achieve a common goal...the goal is to WIN,as it is in every game, the rewards are all the same too....POINTS,levels,unlocks,more points, challenges, etc. lol ok you want my definition of teamwork. Why wouldn't a troop requesting air support over his mic to his squad leader, inturn his squad leader passes it on to the platoon leader or oic at which time a bombing run is done, be team work? Yes a icon on the screen doesn't automatically says there is team work, but if a game gives you extra incentives to obey orders or if the orders are just carried out for the sake of a win then there is team work. You sir really don't understand what exactly is teamwork. And MAG goes out of its way to ensure that even as a troop you can have input or receive the info needed to win, with its communication setup aswell as its command structure.MrFanboy
