[QUOTE="MrFanboy"][QUOTE="TheWiikestLink"][QUOTE="MrFanboy"] erm teamwork is done by the squad leader assigning objectives on the fly and appearing on the interaces of your teammates and by that there is a incentive to do what your squad leader commands you to do, because of the xp bonus as we saw on that video. Do you give command your teammates by giving them objectives on the fly and rewarding them for following the rules? no I am sorry but i do not play Crysis graphics or sales, i play gameplay and i am talking based on what i have been playing and experiencing.

Your maybe right on one thing which is MAG is more in depth with what you have to do.with commands you have...but essentially its all the same....so you dont have a squad leader marking what you gotta do...its already done for you in alot of games.....MW2 theres a big red sign that says ....PLANT BOMB,chances are everyone on the team knows you have to plant the bomb....do you get rewarded? of course you do....besides POINTS,there's winning the game, braggin rights....challenges...among other things...what you are explaining is done faster and much more efficient by simply saying on the mic...." umjmm...plant the bomb at B" which is more of teamwork imo than simply marking sumthing on the map....because when you use my definition of teamwork, you all agree your in it to win it...when you use your definition, like you said you are only giving them the incentive, its still teamwork im not denying it....but every game uses the teamwork you are describing. You still didnt give me YOUR definition of what teamwork is to you....marking a dot on a map i hope it is not, because very foolish you will look.

You do not seem to understand how MAG works. I advise you to read this. http://forums.mag.com/mag/board/message?board.id=generaldiscussion&thread.id=124392 No need to say i look foolish, we are having a conversation, i would not like it, if this goes from a nice debate to insults.

its a noobie guide....i dont see where you are taking this...the definition of teamwork found in a dictionary is to work as a group to reach a common goal...the goal is to win.......the same goal every game has and the same rewards every game has....

well, , imo they're all good, but have some critical differences

MW2 is your COD fix, great arcade type shooter, jut run and gun at your hearts content, without having to think much while doing it, not many tactical decisions involved, it's the more casual of the three.

BF:BC2 is kinda in the middle in terms of how casual it is, it's still an arcadeish shooter of sorts, you don't have to worry that much about cover, flanking and stuff and I think the way that some of the MP modes work means that you have to work as a team more the you would in MW, so it's a more hardcore experience, also it adds lots of vehicular combat and some environmental destruction, which leads to epic battles.

MAG is undoubtely the most hardcore of the three, you just have to work as a team otherwise you will lose period, you die with a few shots 3 to 5 tops and you're dead, considering they don't hit you in the head of course, running and gunning in this game is a no go.

so there you go, imo you can't really compare them, MW is you vanilla FPS, BF is your vehicular mayhem and MAG is your team work centered tactical shooter.

GreyFoXX4

lol ill go out on a limb and guess your not very good at mw2 if you honestly think mw2 you are able to run and gun without thinkin...."not many tactical decisions involved" has to be the dumbest statement i have ever heard....since thats up to the player to do,not the games fault....i just pulled off a 1v4 on search and destroy, they planted the bomb and had a pave low already out,i was inside a house next to the bomb with a clay watching my back,as i kill the first dude that walks by me,his friend tries to sneak up behind me and gets blown up,now i have a predator missile with about 20 seconds left,i use my predator not only to blow up the pave low,but to give away the other 2's position,1 was near the bomb the other running around the opposite side,as i kill the camper guarding the bomb,i throw a smoke on the bomb and defuse while the last guy gets there when im 1/4 done and begins to try and spray at me.... Now if that did not involve any tactical decision,i do not know what a tactical decision is. :/

Your playing a mode that I consider to be a poor mans Socom. If you think your tactical then bring it to socom. Oh yea you won't have that predator to do the work for you.

Also on subject, what kills BFbc2 for me is its only 12vs12 unless they've changed that, there is way to much down time when looking for a enemy sometimes. But the squad mode 4vs4 I see alot of fun to be had there espeically if you already got some good clan members to run with.

As for MAG, I also wish it was as opened up as bfbc, but love how the team work works out.

you honestly think socom:con takes skill? lmfao

game is based off luck,on who can camp harder and who can get the lucky shot off first...after socom II, socom has been a D grade franchise....played by those who suck at call of duty or any of the other big name shooters...i get on socom sometimes and all i see are these SLOW moving, corner camping, gun spraying noobs, and it pains me that this is what socom turned into.

great you can knife while you reload now...as if video games didnt do that before mag...and thats it? hmm what a letdown.

That is all you read? Okay have a nice day. I read this: Gameplay · Added ability for player to use knife during a reload animation. · Applied significant tuning adjustments for all weapons and armor. · Increased sprint duration before tiring by 30%. · Lowered XP requirements for levels 2 thru 4. · Lowered level-entry restrictions for Sabotage from Level 3 to Level 2. · Lowered level-entry restrictions for Acquisition from Level 5 to Level 4. · Lowered level-entry restrictions for Domination from Level 10 to Level 8. · Enabled proper level requirements for unlocking headgear, facegear, and uniforms. · Fixed problem with recoil/firing animation that kept playing for a few seconds after the player fires an automatic gun and uses knife swipe simultaneously. Interface · Fixed bug where incapacitated players' nametags would occasionally disappear. · Repositioned onscreen weapons for improved field of view. · Armory items (facegear/ headgear/ uniforms) reordered. · Removed helmets from "Loadout 3" for all factions. Graphics · Made significant increase in framerate during player-heavy games. · Changed light settings for all environments. · Polished recoil effect for better realism. · Fixed offset muzzle flash effect. · Tuned camera to shake more realistically when hit by bullets. · Adjusted "blur" effect for both normal sights and iron sights. · Added alternate reload animation. · New "light scatter" treatment for all skies. · Repaired various "weapon clipping" issues. · Enacted several particle fogging adjustments. Audio · Switched first-person weapon sounds to true stereo. · Moved first-person character interactions and weapon switches to true stereo. · Tweaked sounds effects relating to landing on surfaces. Technical · Added error display and queue panel updates to notify player when they've encountered a "join game" failure. · Made various server stability fixes and tweaks.

perhaps you didnt read..i said wat was added to GAMEPLAY.....which only a knife and run ability were added to the GAMEPLAY

[QUOTE="MrFanboy"][QUOTE="TheWiikestLink"][QUOTE="MrFanboy"] I see teamwork in a pub. You are contradicting yourself.

Well obviously you have to define teamwork for me...if you consider a guy reviving you as "teamwork" then their is teamwork in every game...hell i can find you a vid of people using "teamwork" on warhawk...MY definition of teamwork is at least using strategy to win,BY TALKING ON THE MIC,AND PLANNING OUT WHAT TO DO...not running,gunning..as you see in the vid kid is not even talking on the mic.....and if you happen to be near the objective, get some free points....because thats the real definition of teamwork " Cooperative effort by the members of a group or team to achieve a common goal." which is to win....so in reality all games you use teamwork....so again i feel as if you have no idea what your talking about,as i base my opinion off experience and knowledge having played the game and you sorta just base it off what exactly? i proved the game lacks in graphics,physics,animation,gameplay..

[QUOTE="TheWiikestLink"][QUOTE="2Chalupas"]I don't think I've ever played a Square Enix RPG that was "challenging".2Chalupas

not even FF tactics on the psx? dont lie.

Well I didn't get to play that one. Of course that's a bit more of a 'strategy' game than an RPG, right?

But I played the following in previous generations.

Final Fantasy on SNES

Secret of Mana on SNES

FF VII, VIII on the original PS1

FF X and FFXII on PS2

Dragon Quest VIII on PS2

Kingdom Hearts on PS2

All of these games I thought were exceptionally easy as far as the battles were concerned. Basically if you ran into an area where you had trouble, the solution was always to level up like crazy so you are always powerful enough for it to be easy. Games like those you might let your party die only a few times throughout the entire game, and I'm not even good at RPG's. Just always forced myself to level. I'm sure really good players never even needed to worry about that.

yea ur right those are all easy....you should pick up tactics tho...just my advice, its a real master piece of a game.

based off the beta, game is pure garbage, zipper should stay to making socom....because this game is just epic failure...its a cute idea having 256 people playing but they just dont know how to make it work...it feels worse than playing battlefield, compared to playing modern warfare where evrything is smooth..(animation wise, gameplay wise)....besides no ONLINE only game is worth 60 buccs....warhawk was what 40? and that game was sweet...this tho..is not.
