@bubba_1988 @xgalacticax I like the N64 and SNES controllers much better than the GameCube or Wii controllers (I haven't used a Wii U but I expect the same would hold true for that).
@McGregor I just know there are a lot of parents who, if given the choice to spend $200 on something for their kids vs spending $400 on something for their kids, will buy the $200 something.
Now the Wii also had the Wii Sports fad going for it and I don't see the Wii U having anything like that, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Wii U sales get a big uptick once the PS4/720 come out just because it all of a sudden looks cheap.
@jorge69696 Sony did that with the memory because the biggest problem and complaint with the PS3 is how the memory architecture is structured. So PS4 won't have those problems.
Once you're out of CPU and GPU muscle, extra super fast memory doesn't do too much.
@connorx94 Nah Nintendo could easily still exist without their main console hardware.
Now rather or not the quality of their games would stay the same or not - who knows?
And yeah I would definitely buy their games - and their console - if they stopped living 5 years in the past from everyone else. If I want to play an awesome but archaic game from them, I'll go fire up my SNES or N64.
