@Rand401 That's not the point of this article at all. It doesn't compare this in any way to other console launches. The relevant data would be a comparison to expectations/anticipation for the PS3/X360 launch but that's not here.
Well, I guess since CoD players are already gullible enough to fork over $60 every year for basically the same game, it makes perfect sense to milk them for microtransactions.
@Saketume I didn't say they did anything wrong. Don't put words in my mouth. I said they did something stupid.
Their job is to sell games. Part of selling games is not offending your customers. Sexism in gaming has been a hot topic for months now, and rather you like it or not sexism offends some people. They should have known better.
If you buy a PS4, you have a gaming device more powerful than most PCs in existence - even most gaming PCs. The article is about this and it is correct.
If you buy a high end PC ($600-800+) you can have something vastly more powerful than the PS4.
@C317 What makes even less sense than that is the people in comments sections who are apparently upset that they're changing it.......
Who cares? They did something stupid and are fixing it. Doesn't really affect you if you're not offended by it, and if you were offended by it maybe this helps a bit. It's really not worth complaining about.
