The real epidemic we are facing is lyme disease and other tic born infections. 300,000 new cases a year, and the government turn their shoulders like it doesn't exist, while hundreds of thousands of people are going undiagnosed, with the disease spreading throughout your body, which makes it nearly impossible to cure.
yeah, I watched that documentary Under Our Skin, about chronic Lyme's disease, shit freaked me out, not the disease itself but more the way the medical community handles it is inadequate
I have it.. I went undiagnosed for two and half years with doctors telling me it was all in my head and to quit whining. Seriously, that's what i was told.. and of course I got tested, and i had 4 tic born infections. It has pretty much destroyed my life, and it's pretty much like living in hell. I wouldn't wish it upon anybody. I went through like 8 different doctors.. I remember I mentioned lyme to one doctor as a possibility, and the doctor got very defensive and basically shooed me out of the office as soon as possible.. wtf?
