"Super-Size Me" was a great documentary. Pretty damn funny in parts too, but very disturbing in others. BraindeadRacrI laughed pretty hard at some parts, too Same overhere. I like this one scene. I don't remember exactley what he said, but he was like "I got a McStomach ache. I just started the McDiet. I think I'm gonna McVomit in the McParking Lot, etc."

This will probably get me killed, but I don't care. You are all forgetting a very central point here. A point that many people dismiss as nothing...and that is God. Without God, you will never be truly happy. Sure, you'll be "happy" at times, but it will never be something long lasting and full of joy...it's only temporary, usually followed by something horrible and heart-breaking. Just wanted to throw that out there...Chocoholic_JediYou are about to get flamed...not by me. I'm Christian...but by "those"......

Before I start the thread, I just want to say this: I like McDonalds. I will probably go eat there not too long from now. It's delicious.
I saw that movie Supersize Me, and I heard alot of interesting facts about McDonalds and obesity in America. Here are some things you may or may not know:
(This movie was made in 2003. So I don't know if the facts have changed much since then)
1/4 people in Mississippi are obese

1 ounce of McNugget has double the fat than 1 ounce of a McDonalds Burger

72% of McDonalds customers eat there once a week. 22% eat there more than 3 times a week

In Manhattan, there are 84 McDonalds. More than double the amount of Wendy's, Taco Bell's and KFC combined

Since the '80s, Obesity has doubled in adults, and tripled in children

Over 10% of children ages 2-10 are overweight

A New York woman who was born and lived most of her life in France was interviewed by a man named Morgan:
Morgan: Do you eat at McDonalds?
French Woman: In France, yes. In America, no.
Morgan: Why not here?
French Woman: In America, a small coke/fries/etc. is what's considered the Large size in France

A Man did an expirement and only ate McDonalds (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) for 30 days. He gained 25 pounds in those 30 days
Sorry if you have heard most of those....

Something about what you mentioned: Alot of people I know who have had sex wish that they waited longer.Wow, TC you managed to avoid the ways we genuinely do suck.
I have never been pressured to go to things I didn't want to, but my friends can be dicks when it comes to my not having a girlfriend since 6th grade and still being a virgin.
They act like sex is the pinnacle of existence, but I do not think they have ever had any meaningful sex....

I made a promise to myself to not have sex till marriage. Abstinence FTW!
I applaude those who wait 'til marriage...but I don't think I can...Something about what you mentioned: Alot of people I know who have had sex wish that they waited longer.Wow, TC you managed to avoid the ways we genuinely do suck.

I'm not talking about that. I honestly have no problem with that. I just don't like when somebody what's me to be something I am not.Not all of people's critiques are bad.
If a friend thinks it's bad that you do drugs or are messing up in school (s)he doesn't want to mold you into a person to meet his expectations, (S)He geniunely cares about you.
