I am a teenager. And I have come to the realization of something: We suck.
Honestly, I have caught myself amidst the sea of stupidity. Last year, I was happy with myself. People invited me to go places, but I would rather be alone. My mother encouraged me to go out when invited, but I prefer time alone.
When this year of High School started, people found out I rarely go out, and that I'm not very social. People couldn't seem to comprehend that this is what makes me happy. I choose not to be social. Today I counted how many "friends" I talk to on average (daily, not once a week, or month, etc.). I talk to about 25 people a day. I choose to talk to about 22 of those people (3 of them choose to talk to me :/). Then I thought of something:
Out of how many of those 22 people that you choose to talk to do you actually like?
I counted...I only like 7. The rest are either: Kinda cool to talk to; okay but not great; or kind of annoying (And there is one who talks to me that is really ****ing annoying)
I wondered WTF? Why do I continue to do this?
I came to the answer. Teenagers. I started going out more with friends recently. I started to become more social. Now, I will do what makes me happy. I don't like going out. I don't like being social.
Teenagers have made me do what is considered normal, and I have lost focus on the most important of all life's charecteristics: Happiness.
So this is what the overall message is for all you high school (or middle school) kids: **** people. Do not give a flying **** what they think of you (By people, I mean teenagers. Boss's, teachers, etc. aren't the same).
Does anybody else agree?
Every race faces discrimination...although I will add that Mexicans in America do face more than most races...
Been there...excellent Coca-Cola, I might addCentral America all has effing excellent coke. I remember that far more than Mayan ruins (seriously). I guess it's because they use real sugar in their stuff. There's not as much corn and more sugar cane. It's geography I guess.[QUOTE="quiglythegreat"][QUOTE="The_Madcap"][QUOTE="freakyzeeky1986"]Acapulco, Mexico... That place is beautiful... 8)freakyzeeky1986
