For those not in The Know, CoinStar is a green machine found in many grocery stores, usually where the ATMs are. The CoinStar machine takes your spare change and prints out a receipt for you to take to a register; the register then gives you the amount of money you had in cash so you're not carrying coins around.

Sounds good, right? But wait: COINSTAR CHARGES YOU TO COUNT YOUR COINS.

Think about this for a minute. Just think about it. They are charging you--taking away your money--to count your money.

You know what can count change for free? Anyone over the age of five.

So yeah, you have to carry a few more pennies in your pocket--but is it really worth it to pay money to be told how much money you have?

I say screw all those laws... It doesn't stop the illegal immigration... It doesn't stop people from hiring them...

Just give them citizenship... They already come here, they already live here, they already work here... So why spend billions of dollars and pass untold numbers of useless legislation finding them and deporting them... You could do away with that... Give them citizenship... And let them effing pay taxes...

Defend the border but have it so its like Cuba - You get here, past the security, you stay here and you become a citizen a year later. Hell what are the estimates now, 13+ million illegal aliens in the country... Are you really going to find and deport 13,000,000 people? Honestly... Put a sign outside - Citizenship that way ---> Registration complete - badabing badaboom - Collect taxes from them.

They get citizenship, the government get 13,000,000 additional residents worth of taxes, you can do away the tens of billions of dollars spent on tracking removing aliens... Win-Win-Win

Of course it will be more complex than that and there will be plenty of aliens who wish to remain illegal and not pay taxes... But better than the terribad system there is now which accomplishes nothing other than catching the occasional group of illegal aliens and tearing families/communities apart and deporting them home with notihng...
