I believe homosexuality is a sickness, a disease.I hope that belief doesn't meke me a bad person.

I remember being banned from a certain site, for simply calling a homo dude "******".

I was just kidding around.

Go call a black person the N-word and then try and tell them you were just kidding around. See how that goes

Are you implying a black person would automatically react violently? Because if so that's racist.

Disagreeing with someones lifestyle doesn't make you a bad person. Acting hatefully towards someone does.

It depends on the genre. If it's a flight sim or strategy, I would want higher resolution over framerate, but on most fps I would take 720/60.

@starwolf474:

That's basically the case, and that's why it tends to matter more on two foot diagonal monitor placed two feet in front of you than on a 42 inch tv placed 8 feet in front of you.

For a company that prides itself on realistic physics, they sure do a crappy job of it.

I think these new-fangled "graphical adventures" are ruining true adventure games. The kind where you read the game and your own imagination supplies the graphics.

lol people are so silly...i used to run hl2 on 256mb of ram, fx5500 (nvidia), 1.7ghz p4...he can handle the source engine with flying colors. Check Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike:Source and San andreas multiplayerHouseMuzik4Life

Actually, the Geforce 5500 would have been a lot faster than a 9250. He probably could play the original HL2 just fine, but probably not newer source games like TF2 though. I know its not worth the money to upgrade such an old system, but your graphics card is a big bottleneck. If you could find a better video card for it, you would help it out great deal.

As for game recommendations, some of my favorites that haven't been mentioned from that era of PC hardware would be sim city 4, Civilization 4, Rome: Total War, Jedi Knight 2/Jedi Academy, Call of Duty 1, and the early Splinter Cell games.

I agree with your opinion of Mirrors Edge, and I'm impatiently waiting for a sequel. Max Payne 3 and LA Noire are pretty good and recent SP games in that price range, although I would recommend FC3 over those two for most players.

Canada.

We have a few good ones (Devin Townsend ROCKS), but I really don't think we put out nearly enough of it to be considered the best county for music. We certainly don't get any points for Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne or Nickelback imho.

As a kid, I could get fairly violent with my siblings but other than that, no.

I wouldn't call myself a pacifist though. If somebody needed help physically, I would help them.

USA and Britain for rock and lighter stuff, Germany is pretty good for electronic and industrial music and Scandinavia for teh metal.
