I think that most games should take on a Cel Shaded look. It gives Video-games such a unique artistic identity. Assassin's Creed, Red Dead Redemption, Oblivion etc. would all look better with Cel Shade IMO. It makes games age much more gracefully therefore giving it longer lasting value.

Oh god no.

Cell shading completely ravages any kind of good graphics a game could have (if it's done wrong ofc, I'm looking at you Borderlands).

Look what is has done for the Wii though:

I will have to go with the obvious:

Anyways! Is there a cell shaded game that beats PoP? What are some off the best ones?

The results in that poll speak directly to the major difference between those games.

Mayans, Egyptians, Nostradamus, Native Americans: December 21st 2012 will be a significant turning point for the world.

*Looks at News*

Response: OH WELL.

think for yourself, did they had internet and satellite communications back then? didnt think so, there was no way of communicating or knowing these stufff happenned so people on the other side didnt give a damn. but i guess people are too paranoid to think logical points of view.

blackacidevil96

What? Ok sooo so since people didn't know what was happening in other parts of the world...people didn't give a damn. I honestl have no idea what your're trying to say but if you're trying to deny that the world is acting crazy - these are just some of the major earthquakes that have happened since 2010 - most of them record-breaking:

New Zealand -181 dead

Chile -570 dead

China - 3,000 dead

Japan - 28,000 dead

Haiti -316,000 dead

This is not normal. This along with all the Wars, revolutions, economic crisis, terrorism, fresh-water shortages, energy crisis, droughts, forest fires, volcanoes, hell even birds mysteriously falling out the sky, fish turning up with no eyeballs and soo much other crazy stuff this world is experiencing - causes me to concern.... Hell ignore it all if you want to - Ignorance is bliss I guess

pompeii - 2000 dead (based on a google search)

the black plague - in the ball park of 100,000,000 dead

526 Antioch earthquake - 250,000 dead

1931 china floods - 2,500,000 dead

WWI - 16,500,000 dead

WWII - 60,000,000 dead

Permian - Triassic extinction event: 96% of all marine species, 70% of all terrestrial vertebrates EXTINCT

hell just about every other mass extinction event in history.

there has allways been famine, there has always been droughts, the basis for all economy is scarcity. our planet is 75% covered in water. desalinization....blam! fresh water. stop polluting and you wont have sick fish. these are things are pretty damn cause and effect related

but i guess if you dont want to listen to the past thats ok. ignorance is bliss

Oh wow those all happened with 2 years of eachother? lol I mean are you even reading my posts??

if history has teached us something over the last decade is that the nuts are ending the world every 2 years. Learn from that and know nothing is gonna happen.

[QUOTE="TigerWars"]

we've had basically everything he said for either as long as humans have had an economic culture or as long as there has been an earth.

Krelian-co

Ummmm...all at the same time though? Also I can't find any source for that NASA thing I said, I saw it in a documentary I think, so I'll take it back. Also not once did I say the world will end. Nor did the Mayans or anyone else. It will be significant though.

[QUOTE="TigerWars"][QUOTE="-Renegade"]

If they knew the world was going to end in 2012 do you think they would really tell us? There would be mass histeria everywhere it would be like the dark ages all over again.

StealthMonkey4

This. If it was to happen, the last place we would hear is from a government agency. Although I do remember a NASA scientist saying something about it, funny how I can't find it on Google. All I find is a press release from NASA saying 'everything is fine'

It's because there's simply no basis to anything bad happening on December 21, 2012, it's just a regular date, NASA has nothing to hide... The only reason there is any controversy is that it marks the end of the Mayan calendar (which again, doesn't mean anything bad, it's simply the end of a calendar), and the media took it from there. If there truly was an asteroid or planet heading to Earth about to wipe out every single person on Earth, this information would definitely leak....

Again, If it was just the Mayans calendar that ended that day I wouldn't give a rat's ass and wouldn't think anything of it. The fact that Nostradmus, the Ancient Egyptians, the Native Americans (the Hopis) and many other ancient cultures bring up December 21st, 2012 as a significant date causes my eyebrow to raise, as it should for everyone else too.
