I mean just look at Planescape Torment, BGII, Divine Divinity, etc. Those games still look good even today, especially compared to 3D games that came out in the same time period.

It seems that 2D games age well compared to 3D games. Why is that? And why don't they make more 2D games?

I know in Age of Empires 2 you can win by building a Wonder and keeping it standing for a certain amount of time. But does Age of Mythology or Age of Empires 3 have the same thing? Also are there any other RTS games that have a similar way of winning?

I would recommend the following RPGs:

• Oblivion - Probably the best RPG ever made, despite what some people might say.
• Divine Divinity - An excellent RPG, but very overlooked.
• The Witcher - An excellent RPG.
• Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer - Never played it, but have read good things about it.

IMO, it would be Oblivion.
