While I think the Witcher is an excellent game, I think Divine Divinity is better overall, and here's why:

• More character classes - Witcher only has one character to play
• More open world - Witcher is more linear
• You can interact with more objects - Witcher has less objects to interact with
• Stealing can result in a penalty - Witcher has no penalty for stealing
• Story equally as good as Witcher's story

IMO, Divine Divinity is one of the best RPGs ever made. But I've noticed it's not mentioned as much as BG I & II, Planescape Torment, NWN, Morrowind, Oblivion, Witcher, etc. Why is that?

There's a mod which combines 3 of the biggest mods, which pretty much changes the entire game an incredible amount. But since so much stuff is in there, it's rather buggy and often unbalanced. GodLovesDead
