I saw the video for Beyond Oasis, and I noticed that the character's health switches from the left to the right side of the screen every time he fights an enemy. That's a little weird. But anyway, it looks like a fun, solid game.

I haven't seen any Wiis around where I live, but then again I haven't looked. On the other hand, there are shelves full of PS3s, despite all the cardboard standees and posters littering the aisles of game stores. I have noticed, however, the extreme lack of Wii controllers in any form. Either lots of people have Wiis around here or they need 20 controllers each.

I think that they're definitely going to release different colors within a year or so like they have with every system since the N64(hopefully they won't release a special Pokemon Wii). They have been getting better about making the actual system more functional with the second versions, like they did with the GBA and the DS, so maybe they will provide a decent incentive to buy one. I think that whatever it is won't make people who got the first Wii buy a whole new one, but I'm sure it will get more people to buy it who didn't get one at first.

I heard Red Steel wasn't even worth that much....That's why it's so cheap. Personally, I'd get Sonic, but it depends on what you like to play.

I'm thinking that I may have a PS3 about the time the PS4 is released, but for now I'll stick with the Wii and my PC... Hopefully there will be some decent RPGs on it by then too.

This is just one of the reasons why I hate April Fool's Day: You just can't tell when to get excited. Although since this April 1st is going to be my first day as a "Mrs.", I might actually have fun with it.....*devious wringing of hands*

Meh, I think if it works better for you than the current setup provided by the Wii, then it's an excellent idea. It does look pretty good that way too, very creative.

I'm thinking about getting Sonic as my next Wii game(unless I can convince one of my friends it's a valid wedding present).  I practically grew up with the original side-scrolling Sonic games, but I can't stand the slower, more explore-y feel of most of the newer ones.  I haven't played this one, but the videos that I've seen remind me of the chaos emerald challenges from Sonic 2.  Does the whole game have that feel to it?  If so, then I'm definitely getting it.

The fact is that the man has a responsibility to his company. He can say whatever he wants to his friends on his own time, but when it comes to classlessly badmouthing your own clientele in front of media and developers alike, he should have had a little bit of foresight. It only takes an ounce of thought to realize that was a bad idea. As for his apology, I don't know whether it was sincere or not, but I don't think he had much of a choice. I don't think he's going to say something like that ever again though.
