@Angusmast @Emerald_Scott PS3's power was mostly theoretical though, the complications with the architecture made utilizing it's power less than what it's worth.
This time around, both have x86 architecture and SONY has put a huge emphasis on ease of development, sooo.. .yeah.
@Tidemoo Wouldn't that mean that the Xbone would need constant clean and stable connection to get adequate performance then? And no, Microsoft doesn't have the strongest cloud service....
In both cases, Cloud services does nothing to improve performance unless you have a high-speed connection to stream data faster than the HDD/ disk drive does. You don't transfer hardware performance if it's not there.
