I love that ad. It gave me this air of "We make this game the way WE want to and we don't give a s**t if you like it or not!".

Unfortunately the game itself was so-so. Less of Hitman, more of Splinter Cell, it was.

1). Blizzard doesn't earn, but doesn't exactly lose anything either.

2). They do gain good PR.

And all of that using consumer money, not their own.

You're as blind as the rest. You could've donated by other means, Blizzard wants you to donate through them because it makes THEM look good, not you.
