Ahah. Well, it seems like a good move for Microsoft, making CoD an exclusive would be a major blow to SONY, considering Black Ops 2 won't be a complete failure like the rest. . . . Psshhyeah right !!
Not that I care, Activision has a very low number of good games, the only adequate thing they released this year is The Amazing Spiderman and Prototype 2, and seeing how they shut down the developers of Prototype 2 desptie the great sale figures, I guess Activision really is gonig down the drain and Vivendi is jumping ship.
I hope they go down, and Blizzard with them. They are not the guys who made Diablo 1,2, Diablo 3 was disgraceful and empty clickfest with nothing interesting about it. They are jsut a brand name, Blizzard merged with countless studios, nearly nothing remained of the original Blizzard.

Wow. Really. I mean, REALLY?? You say developers want the 8th gen and are sick othe 7th gen, so they move over to inferior platforms?? I mean, if developers really want the next gen to get moving, they can move to PC, make the hardcore... Well, hardcore again, SONY and M$ will finally understand they can't keep using those fossils they call PS3 and Xbox, and they'll get a move on the 8th gen, then EVERYONE WILL BE HAPPY! YAAAAAAY!!
..... No really, what a stupid complaint. If anything, developers would'nt want to jump to the next gen. It's more work, and it's on a bigger budget, meaning they have to work harder and get even less creative in fear of taking risks.
@NaughtyNewts @PDXmauler97 DC Actually isn't donig too bad right now. he problem with it was that it was subscription based but since it was an MMO, it was new, and it was scarce in interesting ideas, made it plummet. Then it became F2P, which made it boom, but only for a short while, because the game itself just got... Boring.
If done right, a Marvel Universe Online could do MUCH better, if it is given even more flexibility, more game content, and is more innovative instead of copying the rest.
Look at Guild Wars 2 for example. Imagine what these guys could achieve with a big budget and a Marvel license.
I was scared abit when I read "Diablo" But now that I see it's the actual makers of Diablo and not Blizzard I'm calm. Is this one of the guys who made Diablo or actually Runic games?
Honestly, it doesn't look that good. The graphics look very lacking, and the fact it's F2P is bad for what they are aiming. Why? Because I can already see it-- You're gonigto have a very limited array of characters you can play from, and to unlock more, you'll need to spill some money. This is a Freeium game, and i bet if you want to play with someone like Venom or Daredevil you'll need to pay for it.
The developers KNOW we want something like Ultimate Alliance, which is arguably one of the best Diablo clones to date, even better by some cases.
But in an MMO, you have lots of players. So everyone will look and play the same? Where's the fun in that?
Also, we always wanted an MMO with a Marvel license where we could play as our favourite heroes, BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT WE MEANT! Look at games Like Champions Online or DC Universe. You gain certain power that give you certain benefits. If I decided on the Spider Man archetype, I want to be able to swing around the city like him.
But this is another Diablo MMO clone, Who you choose is little more than a reskin with different coloured powers.
This game looks to have all the right ideas, but the completely wrong genre.
