@xXl_z3r0_lXx @cogadh @kik4444 WINE is great, but isn't 100% reliable solution and alternative to Windows. It's still improving and being improved on, and the project has a tendency to advance slowly. Hell, it can take quite a bit of time before all games work right on Linux. Therer are still thousands of games and apps that work like crap even with WINE.
@Bellum_Sacrum They'll have to put a huge emphasis on simple GUI and out-of-the-box immediate full functionality.
The #1 problem with Linux is that it operates pretty bad out-of-the-box and much installing of plugins and optimization is required to reach it's maximum potential. That is far too much for the average computer-illiterate user to handle.
I can't wait to laugh hard at how the average user will suddently need to use BASH commands for a simple task.
GTA V couldn't teach one to kill if they tried. It does give you a few ideas about cool ways to end someone if you wanted to though.
But of course, in real life your character can't be a bullet-spong that auto-regenerates, ammo is not so easily found everywhere and the police AI isn't as stupid as you might think they are. Also i'm pretty sure running away and dissapearing out of sight for 2 minutes is gonna be enough to give you a clean slate.
@Pre_ordered_PS4 As someone who up until a few months ago had to walk, run, eat, sleep, and shit with an M16, I can tell you, no game is going to feel like the real thing. Not the fucking reload and shitty magazines that take forever to put in, not the shooting itself that blows your damn ears off, and not the recoil, which is surprisingly softer than alot of other more violent guns.
@goggles123456 But I guess death and nuclear wars are something that's okay to represent in games? Because bleeding to death is okay? Because the death of millions is cool?
Perhaps you should stop talking about people you never met. I know Holocaust survivors. I don't expect them to play MGS or GTA.
