@radikel Too true. And contrary to some, DMC4 really did hit a nerve with me. I just really enjoyed the atmosphere. DMC proved to me that you don't need ridiculously long monologues to deliver an emotional tale. Sometimes, just the atmosphere and setting can take you very far.
That final scene in DMC4... I almost got teary. And I never get teary by games. Except MGS3. I cried like a baby at the end.
@Kyrylo @Stardust7 Not really. It does borrow alot from the feel of the Souls games, but it's design is still radically different. Dragon's Dogma borrowed from alot of games, including Souls, Elder Scrolls, Shadow of The Colossus, Dungeons & Dragons, Breath of Fire...
The boss battles reminded me alot of the DS feel, as did the land-travel to a certain extent, but they are still two seperate games that differentiate themselves alot and stand on their own grounds.
@plm3d_basic @TohouAsura He apologized because his PR forced him to.
I can see his issues with the shooter market and he has some points, but personally slandering a team for a game they haven't even released, that is just nasty.
@rann89 @TohouAsura No he doesn't. He was aiming specifically at Wolfenstein.
"Do we really need another Wolfenstein game?"
He used it as a scapegoat to his generalizations.
That is unfair towards the Wolfenstein team, and generally just tasteless. If you have an issue with these kinds of games, keep it to yourself.
What he did is the same as putting your friend in the middle of a room full of people and slandering him. It's humiliating and there should be no tolerance for this kind of thing.
