[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]Judge Holden (Blood Meridian) - more or less the devil Gandalf (Lord of the Rings) - good Little Bill Daggett (Unforgiven) - morally ambiguous Asuka Langley (Neon Genesis Evangelion) - hard to classify ...too many to list so I'll just leave it at that for now :P

hmmm I always saw little Bill as one of the more evil characters in a western. Not really the "I'm out to see the world burn" type evil, but the dripping with subtle malice kind.

Ah how these threads degenerate... one would think that if you can afford a computer, you could afford an education, and wouldthus believe in climate change, but alas, no.

[QUOTE="Tokugawa77"]Though i personally love rap, I think it takes the least talent. Anyone with even a mediocre vocabulary can craft a few reasonably sounding lines by just listening to a beat. Other genres require that a person actually be able to play and instrument, which takes years of practice- writing raps just requires a basic english education, really.-Tish-
I implore to you try rapping to an instrumental and see just how hard it is. You're half right; writing raps = easy. Actually rapping them = very difficult.

I actually do as a pass time. While I wouldn't claim to actually be good, it's much easier to pick up a pen with little prior experience than to pick up a guitar.

Global warming is a liberal conspiracy aimed at taking down successful oil and coal companies to further the democrats' goal of worlwide socialist revolution! We must act now to increase emissions wherever possible, or we will be living under communism! Global "warming"? Are you kidding? I just stepped outside and it felt pretty darn cold to me, and I think I'd know more about what's going on outside my own house than some scientist (or should I say socialist conspirator) doing some fancy calculations behind a computer screen. We must deal with the real porblem here! A COMMUNIST takeover of the land of the free!

She's 18 years old. They can do whatever the hell they want. I really don't know how this made headline news today...

Vintage? you mean like 1920s? I honestly have never heard that time period refered to as "vintage". But technically the belief that people died at 30 in the middle ages is a falsehood- yes, the average age was 30 but this was because 2/3 or more of kids died in their infancy. If you survived past age 10, you had a pretty good shot at living to see 50 or 60.

I for one openly support piracy. When ONE song costs $1.29 on itunes, something has to be done. Granted, i would actually prefer to pay for my music (just using music as an example here), if it was reasonably priced like $.10 a song, but since this is not the case, there's always pirate bay. If piracy was as big a threat to these companys' profits as they make it out to be, then they would drop the effing prices so people would actually buy from them. Since this is not the case, it is obvious that piracy is really not a very big threat to them.
