Im not hyped about the game periodfredyfishThat's because.... you know why that's because.
Tony-Harrison's forum posts
Taking questions after the demonstration, Inaba-san said that there may be some multiplayer aspects in the game, but that the single-player experience will be the focus.
Good enough for me.
Given that Death Watch is a contest, it wouldn't be complete without a commentator, and this particular one is full of amusing sayings such as "He should've seen the signs" when you're using a signpost to impale an unlucky enemy. The commentator will speak up throughout the game to offer numerous corny one-liners, which suits the light-hearted yet violent nature of Madworld.
I'm glad that's in the game as well as the trailer.
Although the chainsaw is Jack's default weapon, you'll be able to find and equip new weapons, including the daggers akimbo that Inaba-san demonstrated.
Each weapon in the game will be able to perform multiple finishing moves, and in the daggers' case you'll be able to slice off heads, plunge them straight into an enemy, and more.
Cool.
For those new to the game, you'll take the role of Jack, a contestant in a killing game known as Death Watch. The idea behind Madworld has been done before (Smash TV, The Running Man, Battle Royale) but some of the ridiculous, and unique, executions that Jack can perform truly need to be seen to be believed and appreciated.
Sounds like Gamespot likes it.
The question is, are you hyped for multiplayer?
[QUOTE="Tony-Harrison"]I can admit that Wii had a decent line-up of exclsuives but :Wii is only 3 AAe's away from having the same number of exclusives as Xbox360, a console that was released one year earlier than Wii. So no, I don't think ANYONE can say Wii really doesn't have a lot. It clearly does.

1. The Wii has lower standards in the graphics department than Ps3/360/PC. For example i think all Wii games, if on another paltform, would of scored atleast 1.0 less.
2. It's Multiplats where it lacks.
Certain multiplats are better on the Wii, and that will increase thanks to tight controls.
As for lower standards in the graphics department, it just depends on how well it pushes the hardware it's on.
[QUOTE="Tony-Harrison"][QUOTE="CronoSquall"]It's an average FPS game that gets all of it's hype based on the fact that it looks pretty good compared to most other Wii games, which is massively hypocritical considering the Wii fans arguements that graphics cannot make a game.CronoSquall
Wrong.
It gets most of it's hype from the controls.
You mean like the hype MP3 got from it's controls that were going to "change the way we play FPS on consoles forever"? MP3 was forgotten less than a month later when everyone was playing COD4 and The Orange Box. (the controls were actually pretty terrible) If a generic sci-fi FPS with passable visuals and tacked on motion controls warrants hyping, then the Wii software lineup is in even worse shape than I thought.
Metroid Prime 3 was brilliant. IGN gave it 9.5, and Gamespot gave it 8.5 (which was too low IMO).

How many more times do you people need to proove that the Wii has good games? ONLYDOD
Enough times to shut up fanboys who argue that Wii has no good games.

Wrong.

These are the two major games that most hardcore gamers might consider killer.
Then there's Super Mario Galaxy which is a modern day cla ssic
And then there are the games non-Wii owners don't hype because they don't own a Wii, like this one.
I won't bother naming the rest because fanboys will criticise them. The point is that Nintendo Wii fans don't have a lot to hype on this forum because whenever we post pictures of Wii's best games like Zack & Wiki (8.5 Gamespot, 9.0 IGN) fanboys dismiss it and post pictures of THEIR platforms games that score equally because they feel they're more validated. BS!
There's loads of good games coming out on the Wii like The Conduit which has won a load of awards, and the one in my sig. Even Mad World is denied hype for it's creative art **** Fanboys on this forum are ridiculous.

PS3- Soccom
360- Gears2
wii- nothing
PC- TF2
MKLOL
How can you say Wii: Nothing, when Animal Crossing is basically an MMO? And how can you hype Socom when it's being developed by Slant Six (bad Socom games) instead of Zipper Interactive (good Socom games).
