Easy now, I didnt' even say 2D in my post lol. But yeah, it's 2D so it was never going to score AAAE. kthxbye.Lyphe2k

Why can't 2D games be amazing? It's not as though the market is oversaturated with excellent 2D platformers.

[QUOTE="redmetal86"]well, wario does look good, not sure id call it the best platformer thoough. and im not sold on lbp, so....where do i vote?famicommander

It's easily the best 2D platformer since 2000. What decent ones have there been this decade?

Sonic Rush, Sonic Rush Adventure, Yoshi's Island DS, N+, NSMB, Sonic Advance, Sonic Advance 2, Sonic Advance 3, and Wario Land 4 to name a few...

True, but Warioland 5 looks better in my opinion. But out of all those you listed, Yoshi's Island DS was the best IMO.

[QUOTE="famicommander"]I'm actually fairly sure this will be the best game on the Wii. Better than Galaxy, Metroid, Brawl, Okami, or RE4.jg4xchamp
What are you smoking, and can i have some.

Maybe not better than Super Mario Galaxy but one of the best games on the Wii definitely.

Warioland looks like a decent game, but nothing to get excited over.

Basic platforming + waggle controls = ... ok.

hakanakumono

FYI Wario is more than basic platforming. It's the insidious platforming puzzles and awesome boss battles that make it.

LittleBigPlanet is more to do with basic platforming than Warioland.

Wario looks fantastic, no doubt about that. Unfortunately for it though, LBP stomps the fructose out of it.Velric

There isn't much stomping in LBP.
