Er, no. It's being made by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development. Not some third party cash in developer.

Same team who are making Wii Sports Resort.

StealthSting

Just because it is being done by Nintendo it shouldn't have to get a free pass from the labeled shovelware prospect. From what we've seen of it like Shadow_of_Kirby is saying we don't even play the dam game... wth does that make it in the first place, I do not know...

I have an electronic drum kit that cost me a hell of a lot more than $50.

This isn't what I call shovelware

The sad thing is, games like Zack and Wiki actually seem like shovelware at first glance.

Shadow_of_Kirby

I thought that game looked like Shovelware too. It turned out to be a brilliant game that I recommend to everyone.

It took IGN massive hype and an AAA score to convince people though. I like IGN for stuff like that. They're saying The Conduit is really good too. They where also the ones who said Medal of Honor Heroes 2 had a better control system than Metroid Prime 3 and nobody believed them until it actually came out.

All i see in this thread is..."these are shovelware because i say they are". You have yet to really explain what makes these games shovelware and have yet to explain why millions of wii owners tend to buy all of that party stuff that comes out on the wii.mcpow

Erm, no. I explained why in the first post. I even put in a bolded font "Read This Bit" so it couldn't be missed.

shovelware is always a bad game

but bad games aren't always shovelware

Shadow_of_Kirby

What about the people have already begun calling Wii Music shovelware?

No effort was put into it, right?

All they did was use their cheap Mii animations and added some instruments and backgrounds.

Then, you just pretend you're playing an instrument, and that's the game.

It wasn't lazy or anything. The 3D just didn't work in practice, and it needed the innovation of The Sands of Time.

Here's a Youtube video of it in Action

sorry to double post, but the link is broken. :]

It works for me.

I don't know what's funnier about your signature. The audacity of the fanboy or the fact that he can't perform simple maths. :p

Portal, Silent Hill 2, PoP: Sands of Time, Spiderman 2, and Treasure Island Dizzy.

... God I'm depressed I know that. -_-

valmonte

Treasure Island Dizzy ROCKED! Man I loved that game. The closest thing to it nowadays is Zack & Wiki which I strongly recommend.
