Toplesslemon Blog

J's Button

I used to have a button. It's name was Scarlotte Fever. I lost my button a couple of years ago. I really miss it.

I woke up this morning (or rather this afternoon) to find the bloody bunnies in my room. Freaked me out! And now the dog is sitting on me; making it hard for me to type.

Bethany is watching Friends way too loud, my hair is annoying and my ear hurts. Boy, my life sucks! :P

And Ross sucks too. Damn Ross.

I think I've got a cold. Or that Lung Fungus thing. I look forward to the giant brain needle.

So anyway... hopefully the computer doesn't crash before I get to finish this... *sigh*

The Stars...

Have you ever seen the stars?

If you live a suburia/a city I'm betting you haven't. You need to go somewhere where there's no lights, roads or people.

Then will you see the stars.

How Many Google Hits Do You Need to Get a Wikipedia Article?

Always wondered. "Toplesslemon" at last count has over 2000 (2030 to be exact) hits. Yay me! And yes, they're all talking about me. There is no other Toplesslemon!

So, music; I thought I'd share what music I listen to, and you probably won't have heard of a lot of them, but that's okay; no one has. I started putting them in alphabetical order, but I couldn't be bothered. So they're ALMOST in alphabetical order.

AFI, Art of Fighting, Augie March, Band of Horses, Ben Kweller, Ben Lee, Blue King Brown, Bright Eyes, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Coldplay, Cursive, Expatriate, Fans of Kate, Goo Goo Dolls, Jane's Addiction, Jimmy Eat World, Kisschasy, Missy Higgins, Muse, My Chemical Romance, OK GO, Sarah Blasko, Savage Garden, S Club 7 (cough), Snow Patrol, Something for Kate, Sonic Youth, The Clash, The Fray, The Grates, The Killers, The Matches, The Shins, They Might Be Giants, Wolf and Cub.

So, yeah... that's my list so far. Got loads more to add!

I Wish I Had a Fish...

Yep. We got more pets. Thanks to Han and her... lovely rabbits we now also have two bunnies. That brings our grand total to seven. Seven bloody animals. There's only three humans!

There's the dog; Molly, the cats; Tigger, Roxy, Rusty and Jethro, and the bunnies; Tate and Biggs.

And guess where the bunnies are at the moment! MY room. MY ROOM! They're not even my frickin' bunnies. (And Hannah saw it coming.)

I might have to move to the family room... X-Files marathon! :D

Of Wheet-Bix and Copying Han...

Yep.

Wheet-Bix are gross. And taste like cardboard, and I can not get enough of them!! I'm planning on trying to live on Wheet-Bix alone. Nifty, hey?

So, what's with the change-y-ness of the whole profile thingy?

Weird.

Anyway, Anne, how was the tests? Fun?

Eh, I'm going back to reading Stargate scripts... I want some Sam/Jack DAMN IT!

I kinda like Jonas, but I miss Daniel. *dramatic sigh*

Anyway... See ya later, buttons!

(PS - what do you think of the name "Emu Emma the Emo Turtle"?)

Just Another Blog...

"If Keith Urban loves country so much; why doesn't he change his name to Keith Rural?"

Hannah loves that joke! :P

You know how someone tells you something really big and you really can't believe it and you want to tell someone, but you're not really sure if they told you what they told you in confidence or not, so you can't really tell anyone, but it's really BIG.

Yer, I got some news like that. Bad news, really bad news. And I can't really tell anyone... but... anyway.

*sighs*

Feeling Very Australian, Indeed.

I am feeling extremely "Australian" at the moment; because I'm listening and watching (half-watching, really) the cricket. Twenty-Twenty Australia vs. England... Gee, I wonder who's going to win...

*coughAustraliacough*

Twenty-Twenty means that both sides play twenty overs. An over is six balls. Cricket is a sport where crickets throw stones or "balls" at each in a battle to the death...

Okay, not really. :P

The telly's blaring with the cricket, but in true Australian form the sound is muted and I'm listening to the commentary on the radio. Which is how everyone I've ever known watches it. Only losers listen to the Nine commentary.

I'm listening to Triple J, which is not the first place you'd expect to hear the cricket. It has Roy (of Roy and HG fame) and a guy from The Chaser... Craig? I think... Oh, crap, I've forgotten! Doesn't matter. And they also have... other dude. Dude from Triple J! It's actually quite entertaining. Which is not something you hear me calling cricket.

Triple J is actually a rockin' station. The only I really listen to anymore.

One day I shall tell of the magic that is Triple J, but not today... I have to finish watching the cricket.

(I also happen to be reading SG-1 'scripts. I've made it to the fourth season. I think it's taking me away from the Aussie-ness, but I'm enjoying it greatly! WHAT A FRICKIN GREAT SHOW!!!)

36 Hours

Yep, almost 36 hours up (read last blog), and oddly I don't feel tired at all.

Not even a little bit.

Not in the slightest.

I feel more hungry than tired.

And annoyed.

Long hair is really annoying.

I went to the shops.

Saw my friend Stephen.

That was fun.

I'm going to listen to the dudes from The Chaser on Triple M in a minute...

Then I'll watch That '70s Show. Then at 8:30 I'll watch the repeat of SVU.

Sounds like a fun evening.

Hope you also have fun days...

31 Hours

Yay!!! The blog thing is finally working. Yep, that's my excuse for not having a blog everyday.

That's riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight folks; I have been up for thirty one hours STRAIGHT. Which is not exactly huge; I've got to here easy. I think my record's 53 hours straight. And then I slept for 19 hours right after that.

Monopoly!

There's an Australian "Here and Now" edition coming out and if you go to...

www.monopoly.com.au

(Go on, go) You can vote for certain places in Australia for which place actually goes on (every state and territory gets one place each). And you people want to there and go to South Australia and vote for Adelaide, don't you?

You do! You know you do!

You need to! Adelaide's the best out of all the SA choices (I know; I've been to all of 'em).

Again... www.monopoly.com.au

See Ya!

*collapses in an exhausted heap*

I KNEW IT! (Consider this all in capitals)

I knew TV.com and Wikipedia were run by the same evil people. Don't even get me started about the whole TV Tome issue...

My problem today is that I submitted something and it got rejected because it wasn't it italics, but of course, being it was me, it WAS in italics, but TV.com just hates me.

Also; I'm not on 47% anymore, so I'm quite annoyed. And someone just rang me and woke me up. It's four in the afternoon! I WAS ASLEEP! And I had to use the phone... my day just keeps getting worse. :P
