Toplesslemon Blog

This is My 30th Blog Post (Captain Obvious Strikes Again!)

In honour (that's right Americans; we put a "u" in honour! Crazy, right?) of Captain Obvious making an apperance in this blog's "topic" I thought I'd tell you my favorite superhero.

Artie, the Strongest Man in the World

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artie2C_the_Strongest_Man_in_the_World

There's the Wikipedia article about him. He's from The Adventures of Pete and Pete, which is one of the greatest TV shows ever created.

Pelicans Don't Have Nostrils

What a fun fact! Thanks Han... a reason to be freaked out MORE by them.

Banner... I meant I have finally got a banner. I kinda of like the one that's there. You can't see it because of the Google thing, but the emo one is crying... Oh, wait, the tear's are just REALLY small. I thought it was dirt! *laughs*

I SHOULD Wait Until AFTER Christmas to Tell You My Story of Woe...

I should, but I won't.

It's only Christmas here for another 51 minutes, so you can all hear my story of woe and dispair. Unless my computer crashes, and even then, if I decided I can be bothered typing this ALL up again...

So, first of all, my dad stays over. No one told me he was coming over! My dad lives in a nursing home because, well, he's old and disabled in many ways, but moving on...

Before then, I get told that my runners are not "appropriate" for going out to Christmas lunch. THAT was annoying, but I managed. Barely.

Then I get woken up HOURS before the normal person should ever get up (it was like 8:30 in the morning!), but I did get out of going to Church. Which is when I realise all my Christmas clothes are STILL in the washing machine, freashly washed, and still very damp. So I shoved them all in the dryer thing.

Mum and Beth get home from Church and we jump in the car (which takes longer than you'd think - my dad being on a frame and all) and drive to the place we're having lunch (we decided this year we'd go out) and we miss the entry for the place (which was called "McLauren on the Lake" but because of drought it should have been called "McLauren on the Small Puddle) so we drive up the road and attempt a U-turn.

It's whilst we're attempting do to a U-turn that a car driving on the WRONG side of the road, and SPEEDING, I might add, smashes right into us. It was kinda of like that scene "Raise Your Voice" except instead of a truck it was a small car... anyway, no one was seriously hurt. I got scratched up a bit, but I was the most serious. Yay me! And we'd JUST got our car back from the shop...

I've been in like 50 car accidents, and yet, my life has yet to flash before my eyes!

Maybe because I don't actually have a life... darn.

Better go before this crashes!

Our car's still driveable-ish. You can't open the doors on the right side... and I shall leave the story about lunch for another day...

Oh, btw, Merry Holiday-of-Your-Choice

Five People That I Consider Evil...

1. - Dido - She must be the scariest singer ever. I'm freaked out just thinking about her!

2. - Ari - For obvious reasons. Even if he is just a character.

3. - Barney - Would you REALLY leave him alone with your kids? You would?.... Idiot.

4 - 10th Doctor - He's ugly! And not the 9th.

5 - David Tench (and anyone with the initals DT) - He MUST be the most annoying character ever. Why would you think Ziva? I wasn't thinking Ziva! She doesn't annoy me AT ALL.

So, I'm aiming for a blog a day or fifty entries... whichever comes first.

Night All!

The Aim of Me...

I have an aim.

That aim is to write a blog everyday. For the rest of this year anyway.... Seems perfectly do-able, doesn't it?

There's a spell check on these? *hangs head in shame* I SO did not realise that! So many mistakes... *shakes head*

Anyway, I've got into reading Stargate fics. I've said that before. Just wanted to remind you.

So, that's about all I have to say.

Six More Things I've Learnt...

Six more things I have learnt...

1. - Christmas is just annoying - I mean, how many Christmas shows do you need? I watched two today and I'm almost pulling my hair out. Granted, they were both very good Christmas episode; Another Specky Christmas (Australian thing) and the Bones episode The Man in the Fallout Shelter. But honestly! So much Christmas carols, so much good will; it's giving me a headache! No one is nice and no one changes!

I now understand why people drink.

2. - I don't care that I spelt that wrong - I don't. I really, really don't. Whatever it is that was spelt incorrectly I don't care about it.... Well, I do a little bit, but only a little!

3. Stargate is a cool show - and I like the fan fiction too. Because I've only watched three episodes it means the small, meaningless facts, that would get me down don't! And there's so many stories for me to read! It's heaven!

4. - I don't care I started a sentence with a "because" - Well, I do slightly. After all, I'm all about the "grammer"

5. - I'm too tired to remember what this spot was going to be - Probably something about Stranger Than Fiction. Looks like a good movie...
