I played Bayonetta, unlike you, and can confirm it's a title that will get many 9's. Is 10 pushing it? Possibly. But it's one of the best action games in freaking years, period.

I thought the demo of bayonetta was a lot of fun, so I don't find that score outrageous, but I do agree edge is a little... peculiar. black_tempest

They changed the game in the 80's. Where you even born yet? Q-tip is awesome. They rap with intelligent which is still hard to find.

That being said, demos are meant to be representations of the full product. We can't just dismiss a demo, for that very reason. In some cases, the demo does more harm than good (re: Dead Space :? ).

People will get excited by demos, and people will be disappointed by demos. No matter how you slice it, it's still a representation of the final product.
