Good lord, I completely agree. She kind of redeemed herself with Lost in Translation..

sammyjenkis898

Yeah but Marie Antoinette wasn't so good:P

Yeah, that's true. Okay, so she didn't redeem herself.. :P

Oh yes she did > :( Lost in translation is my favorite film of all time, they need a special edition blu-ray asap As for depressing, i'd say, children of men :(

The PS3 marketing machine has hit full stride! Sony is reporting astronomical PS3 sales over the Black Friday weekend, revealing that close to a half a million PS3s were sold over that time period. This number sets a couple of notable new sales milestones for the PS3, and puts it firmly on track to breaking more.

In 2007, the PS3 sold 460,000 units during November, and in 2008, the PS3 shifted 388,000 consoles. Sony announced they sold 440,000 PS3s in North America for the week ending on November 29, more than they sold in the entire month of November last year. 440,000 is also a better Black Friday performance than the XBox 360 to date, which sold 310,000 in 2007 and 380,000 in 2008. Presumably, Microsoft did not perform as well this year, as they've only made mention that this was their best selling week to date. While the PS3 didn't manage to outsell the Wii, which sold 550,000 units, it did do comparably well to the much cheaper console.

Further, this indicates that Sony may be on track to it's first month in which it sells 1 million consoles. This is a milestone that Sony has had trouble reaching the past few years, selling only 800K consoles in December 2007/2008. While based on data from previous years, it's unlikely that PS3 will hit 1 million this month, it should smash that barrier easily next month.

Overall, great news for Sony. The PS3 has been a bit of a black mark on Sony's home console record, so they must be ecstatic to see it perform so well.

Good news.

Although it didnt out-sell the wii, this is great news. Good for them!

Get a Japanese car. Less headache, cheaper in the long run. If you want sporty, get a Honda Civic Si, a Mazda RX-8, or a Subaru STI. Hell.. get an EVO, not just a regular Lancer. Don't get a BMW... that's a headache waiting to happen. WestSideAzn
Lol? get a dodge challenger.

tell him you are a close minded person who doesn't even want to look at other ways of dressing or lifestyle. Tell him you're happy with the way you look. Tell him it doesn't matter that the vast majority of stores won't hire someone who comes to an interview dressed in 'metal'. Tell him you're happy living the bumstyle life and will be glad when the hand of death coems and takes you away from this hellhole.

Either that or you could just go with him and see what they have.

[QUOTE="Free_Marxet"][QUOTE="rawsavon"][QUOTE="Free_Marxet"] israel is a bad country. they terrorize the palestinians. we put saddam in powerfor profit reasons, which is immoral and look what happened. no, not all jobs are crappy. retail probably wouldnt exist in communism. neither would accounting.the entire spectrum would change. Communism is not "government assigned jobs" Yes Ihave, you dont know what communism is.At least classic communism, according to Marx.

How old are you? I feel like...never mind A country is incapable of being "bad"...leadership and ideologies change all the time (look at Germany) And so who exactly is going to build the houses, roads, cars...stock the necessities, etc...no matter how you restructure things, unmotivated people will be doing crappy jobs = fail

im 24 when i say country, i typically mean government. thats not true. Some people are motivated to do things because they need to be done for the greater good (charities for example) people who like to build things can build houses lots of people like cars, and wouldnt mind building them if given the opportunity. Nobody would do crappy jobs, because they could just not do crappy jobs and do the things they like doing. the linux operating system is an example of complete volunteerism. And guess what? its far more secure than windows.

[QUOTE="II_Seraphim_II"]Soldiers are like weapons. If a man picks up a gun and shoots another man, you don't blame the gun, you blame the man behind the gun. Same applies with soldiers, except its the politicians behind the gun. With that in mind, I see no reason why not to support soldiers. You have a problem with a war, blame the politicians, unless we are talking about soldier misconduct.Free_Marxet
soldiers are capable of rational thinking. they shouldnt join if unjust wars are being fought

Yet they do, think about it.

[QUOTE="Free_Marxet"][QUOTE="TreeMoBMoney"][QUOTE="Free_Marxet"] No, I havent. You say I cite conspiracy theories when ive cited none.

I was messing with you since you sound a little crazy defensive. You have hallow points and and you're a waste of time to debate with.

im not crazy defensive. I just like to find things out through debate. Im not even the slightest bit bothered by you. What hallow points?

sorry i mean crazy/defensive. Ex. of hallow point "We arent doing anything good with these wars, the world is more dangerous and innocent people die. We start wars with people for the sole intention of profit." you made a point saying the world is more dangerous and innocent people die because of wars, and its hollow because thats the way its always been.

[QUOTE="Free_Marxet"][QUOTE="rawsavon"][QUOTE="Free_Marxet"] My life is in greater danger because of the nature of the American military. We dont need to control much at all. And our military has only been keeping profits up, not fighting justified wars.Which is why we cant get congress to actually declare war with most of these invasions People take out trash and wash dishes because it makes sense that it needs to happen. Which is why people would do it.

I don't know about you, but I would rather be at risk of another 9/11 than a nuclear strike by Korea -we patrol the world (which I admit we need to scale back), but it ensures our overall safety We fight wars that are in our best interest, not just for humanitarian reasons. -not saying that it is right...but that is just how it is -if I stop a bully on block A because I will make money...fine...I still stopped the bully (even though there was also a bully on block B, but lacked any profit for me) at least good was still accomplished You said "people do things because they love to. Im sure you have something in life that motivates you, such as a field of work. You could simply just do that, andbe happy." -I said, not everyone will get that opportunity...no one chooses to do the crap jobs for a living = no motivation if you have a crap job = communism fails because no motivation for 90% of the population

many nations actually aid us in regulating other countries. its ok to make sure bad countries dont do bad things, but what we do is start wars for profit soley. Now not all wars are, but most. We arent doing anything good with these wars, the world is more dangerous and innocent people die. We start wars with people for the sole intention of profit. Most crap jobs dont even need to be done. Just do what you like doing. You seem to have communism confused with the USSR. the ussr was actually socialist (in name only) united soviet socialist republic

I forsee a world filled with trash, unmowed lawns, unfinished tps reports and a general lack of basic needs due to the fact that nobody wants to be a assembly line worker.
