Hey guys,

I played Rock Band 1 on the Xbox 360and loved it on the drums. I climbed to expert in a matter of a week, because I also play real drums. The sad thing is that I also went through 3 drum kits for Rock Band 1. My first kit was faulty from the box, my second kit lasted about 6 months after I sock modded them, and my third kit was broken out of the box, even after sock modding it and also trying a few other mods. I pretty much gave up on Rock Band at that point and put my broken drums away in the attic. But, I went to a friends house last week and played his Rock Band 2 wireless drum kit for Xbox 360 and fell in love with it again. His kit seemed to work perfectly and register every hit without double hits. Now I'm debating on whether it is worth paying $90 for the Rock Band 2 kit or not. I don't want to pay the $90 and have it break again in 2 months. I want a good quality product. So just leave me a few posts explaining your opinion on the Rock Band 2 drums and tell me whether I should chance it or not. Don't bring up anything about Guitar Hero World Tour or its drums, because I was very dissapointed in that game and don't want to play it whatsoever. So basicallyallI'm wondering is whether the Rock Band2 drums will last very long, and if they are a very good quality. Thanks!

if youre a real drummer why dont you buy some midi drums? They can work with RockBand with the right connectors. Check out some of the vids on youtube.wurd
Yeah, I would but I don't really want to spend that much money. My parents would find it to be a complete waste of money to buy a set like that (I'm only 16).

Thank you, that is why I play Rock Band too. I have always really liked video games and putting video games and drumming together just makes it awesome. Plus, I also use the charts on Rock Band to help me learn how to play a real song and get it down perfect.

Oh ok, thanks. I'm probably going to be using them a lot too, but I hope this doesn't happen to me. It's probably not that big of a deal though, I mean if you did glue them back on they would probably work fine. And even if they did come off, I guess you could always send them back and get a new set or mod them yourself in some way that they won't come off. I might pick up a set today. Thanks!

I just got Audiosurf today and every time I play a song, the leaderboards show up but they are all empty. My own scores aren't even being recorded on them either. I have already made my account and I don't know what to do. If anyone could please help, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Actually, not to be a smartass, but that did happen on Rainbow 6 Vegas. My friend got the Red or Black Map Pack (can't remember which), and I decided to hold off for a week or two. Sure enough, a week later they were free and my friend wasted $10. I just didn't want that to be the case with the Call of Duty maps.
